Update on my drama: DCBS has agreed to refund the charges and will remove the scarlet “S” from my account going forward so that I only pay the normal shipping charges.

Ya, that should not be allowed. I have had a lot of problems with CGC in the past and dropped them completely about a year ago. I have been only using CBCS since and have been much happier. Every time I spoke with someone from CGC they had an attitude about something.

I’ll likely be using CBCS myself for personal stuff going forward. I’ve had better experiences with them, and have actually been able to talk to people from there (as a representative from a retailer) much easier. For work, though, I’ll still need to use CGC at least half the time because that’s just what people want to buy.

Did anyone else’s TFAW order just slip a week? Everything for my monthly pre-order has already been pulled (like at least a week ago), but today it moved from 1/19 to 1/26.
Whatever your 1/19 order was will come off of that and you will see it adjust. Mine did that last week and I was like uhhh why is my order all of a sudden $900 lol

It’s not the cost, it’s more that I don’t want to wait to read a book (that got bumped due to a Diamond delay) that was supposed to ship on my order last month. I just want to read it and I don’t want to wait another week. 
EDIT: and maybe this is just “estimate next shipping” acknowledging that today is the original process date and if no one has hit the “processed” button it defaults to another week or something

TFAW’s system automatically does that on Tuesdays, since they are supposed to process today for the books coming out tomorrow. That just means they haven’t yet pushed the “processing button”. Once they do, the books for this week will get pulled out of next week’s group. A little glitchy when they aren’t super on schedule, but it doesn’t mean the books got bumped.

Yes thats what it is, last weeks has not processed yet so it rolled over. Once it processes it will all change again to what it was for both dates 1/19 and 1/26

The cover price for the issue is $8.99. It being listed at $3.99 was a mistake because of how it was coded in the upload. That’s even below what the cost of ordering it is. $12.49 (9.99 after discount) is the same price the #2 1:10 was.
If you’re upset about it being fixed, you can drop it. It’s still pre-FOC.
Hey @RipCityGamer - Understandable price change. I thought it was a little odd that the initial price was $3.99, so I figured a correction was coming. But, it sounds like it’s showing as $12.49 for many (including myself). Will that be corrected in the system, or is that a chat with CS?
Hard to say without seeing what you see. But regardless the price should eventually be $12.49 cover price, $9.99 after the pre-FOC discount. Could just be the various systems not caching yet.
Technically I think it would actually be in the $8s because it’s still pre-FOC and 30% off. Forgot about that.
Not having much luck with tfaw these days. Books foc changed and locked early last week with no warning or email and this week 3/4 of my long ago preordered books didn’t process.
This week we were short at least one pallet from Diamond. So if stuff didn’t process it’s probably whatever was missing from that pallet and is being sent with next week’s shipment.
As for the FOC stuff last week, if you wanted to remove stuff you can just let support know you planned on doing it over the weekend but it processed early and they’ll adjust things for you.

My streak of suddenly hot books getting canceled continues.
I found a couple of copies locally but man I think I am jinxed.

Received a TFAW order today. 9 books in a gemini with the books all tightly secured in a single bag. That extra bag really seems to help. All books were NM+.
There is a trend of many online stores canceling hot books, regardless of how reputable they are, I have had cancellations on at least a dozen online stores including ebay the past 6 months.

I got shipping notification from Forbidden Planet earlier today for my 1 copy being shipped. My order was around lunch yesterday. Must have been a lot of orders for Marvels Voices yesterday.
