Online Comic Store Report Card

Not to pile on… but @Devildog and @RipCityGamer, I’ve had to call them out on almost every single unfilled item. Months of holding my money with no end in sight (and zero chance the issues are replaced by diamond as they’ve long since sold out) until I call them on it. I honestly don’t want to open a dispute on the shipping charge as they still have a bunch of my stuff in their possession (was supposed to have shipped but all they did was create the shipping label on Wednesday morning — the shipment in question hasn’t even been received by FedEx yet…) and a lot of my money as well. I hate to say it, but I’d rather take the easy road, get my stuff, and begin taking my business elsewhere.

Order from Tfaw arrived fine and was packed well. Was a little concerned because it was a large order with lots of High Republic and future state wonder woman and batman but everything was in good shape

Also got a large order from M&M Comics which was mostly King in Black #1 and #2 bundles regular and variant covers and all tie ins and per usual the packaging was some of the best you’ll ever see. Plus free stuff like marvel previews, King in black tattoos and future state poster checklists.

Dude too funny. I have the exact same floors in my kitchen and bathrooms. Luxury vinyl plank right?

Same. I have them throughout the house. Very good looking flooring and easy to clean. Not to mention the grey color looks good.

Yeah they are… since you don’t always empty my bucket and there’s splatters… sometimes I miss on purpose boss man just to watch you clean your floors… now, undo these chains!

Haha we all have the same exact floors. Mine are about 5 years old and the high traffic / heavily cleaned areas are starting to peel up. (Ie under the high chair). What adhesive did you use to glue yours down? The contractor I used clearly didn’t pick the best one.

They do look wicked nice

Not sure. They were installed when we bought the place but I have a ton of extra down in the basement in case any needs to be replaced.

I’ll be sure to hit you up if I can’t find any! I’ve only got one spare plank

Spareplanksheatingup.net appears to be an available domain!

I got my latest TFAW order. 96 books. 3 stacks of books, alternating spines, and in bubble wrap.
Books looks GREAT. Looks like the improvements by TFAW have been implemented.

Received a large order from TFAW, 2 stacks that were very well wrapped. Everything in great shape, big improvement over the last order.

I can’t believe bundles that big are being made. I thought they were switching over to smaller bundles? Happy your books arrived nice.

Anything good on this midtown sale?

To add insult to injury— it turns out DCBS not only charged me a bunch of money for this latest (which is over a month late - and still not received by FedEx as of this moment) shipment, but retroactively charged me extra for the shipment from early December! And they still cannot explain how the $15/month shipping charge I already paid factors in, nor how the fact that they completely missed my second shipment of December (they “credited” me $7.50 for it but then went and charged me for the full shipping cost anyway, which nullified the credit as far as I can tell). The whole bookkeeping mechanism they present the user is very confusing to say the least and it’s impossible to decipher what charges are for what.

Sooooo I decided to present DCBS with a choice: refund the shipping charges that I never agreed to or I will be taking my whale-level business elsewhere. I’ll update you guys when I get a response.

Damn… guess there is no need to try them out. I cant deal with mysterious charges after the fact.

I would steer clear. This is so shady. Why would anyone alienate their best customers!?

That is rough, sorry to hear you are dealing with this. If there is one thing I cannot stand it is surprise charges.

Especially after already placing an order.

I just got another “shipping adjustment” charge from CGC for something they mailed back to me last November. Its like they never adjusted for increased q4 fees and are now deciding customers should be the ones responsible for it.
