Let us know.
Hell yeah I’d be complaining and getting that replaced. That’s unacceptable even if you paid cover.
I’m going with TOSS comics for the Free SiKtC, but this is what comicswarehouse said:
"This is for the two comics, plus the insert (not sure why that became important, but its only in the 1C and 1D books), and the ‘free’ Something is Killing the Children #1 8th print.
I have all that detail at home, and will prob update the listing to make that clear.
It’s also due out on 4/28 not when the insert says its coming out
So basically you get 3 comics."
Here’s a new one. Yesterday I received my TFAW order from a couple of weeks ago. At first I was a bit worried as the box seemed small for the number of books that was supposed to be in it, but when I opened it I realized it was someone else’s order. It looks like the shipping labels got switched. Overall, I’ve been very happy with TFAW as any time I’ve had an issue, they’ve fixed it quickly and to my satisfaction. I’m just curious as to how this one will play out. I really hope I get my original order as it has an Eniac #1 and some ratio variants that may be hard to get as cheap. Plus, I’m assuming they’ll want the wrong order shipped back to them. I’ve contacted support, so we’ll see what they say.
Daaamn that sucks.
Hopefully they just get you a return label to slap on it or if the other party is okay with info to ship directly to them to cut the time down in delivery.
But it sounds like your books might be better than theirs so they might be super happier…
Did they run out of boxes as well? This is the third time I’ve heard someone get their most recent TFAW order in a much to small box.
That’s what I’m worried about.
The box was fine for the number of comics in it, it would have just been too small for my order which had more books.
Been knocked out today after getting the first covid shot, so I originally planned on sharing some updates earlier.
Our warehouse is ramping up more with a few more folks and also shifted some people around based on feedback from customers on packing. And Kyle finally has another CS person helping for the last week and change now, so CS is catching back up on that front. By the end of this week we should be back to caught up with all emails and contacts, so apologies for anyone who has been waiting longer than usual.
Ok thanks for the update I sent a couple emails since March 4th about the Gleason ratio variant. I’ll just assume by now no copies will be available so I’ll probably get a refund. Just the no responses was a bit frustrating.
Congrats on shot #1! Mine is scheduled for Saturday.
I have my second shot on the 8th. Had no side effects from the first. Hoping for a smooth second one as well.
No side effects from the second over here. Get vaccinated people.
PARALEL EVREN ISTANBUL
I want to give a shout out about how far they will go to make a bad situation great.
I was a little hesitant about ordering foreign comics, but after seeing some good reviews, I ordered some of their Hulk 181 homages. They arrived in 8 days safely packed. I usually can’t get comics from the west coast here that fast from US shops.
I then ordered their glow in the dark set and ran into problems. The tracking showed shipped and everything was fine until it hit US customs and was turned over to the USPS. Somehow, the post office sent the damn thing back to Istanbul instead of delivering it. Paralel Evren was in contact with me when they saw an issue with tracking before I even knew about it. They sent me pictures of the returned package and re-verified my address was correct. They took it on themselves to offer to ship it to me again at no additional cost. Since they were paying shipping this time, they offered to ship anything else I wanted to add to the package for free.
If I hadn’t had such a good experience with my first order, I might have hesitated, but I went ahead and ordered two more Turkish graphic novels. To keep the USPS from screwing up again, they upgraded (again, at their expense) to DHL air freight with international tracking. I got my books yesterday perfectly packed and couldn’t be happier.
Their communication and willingness to make things right has definitely earned me as a customer and I won’t hesitate to order from them again or recommend them to anyone else who wants to dip their toes into foreign comics
If we’re talking about our COVID-19 vaccines I got mine Sunday. The first one, the Pfizer variety. It made my arm sore an I felt a little woozy and tired some hours later, but otherwise, I was pretty good. I qualified due to being fat. I have lost some weight so I’m not, “Very fat,” but I am still, “Kinda fat.”
Rant-time:
1)Ever single one of my Future Fight Firsts from Midtown arrived completely screwed up, Spider-Gwen vol 2 #1 got hit too. They all look like they got in a fight in the box. My Falcon and Winter Soldier & Agents of Atlas came in one piece somehow. Oh, I don’t know, let’s throw a dozen comics in a paper sack, surround it with big bubble wrap and then wonder why the comics don’t get there in any sort of good condition. How long they been doing this again? My last order was disappointing as well but thought I’d give them another chance. Maybe instead of running them sales, they should spend more time on shipping.
2)TFAW-No response to two emails. As if that wasn’t enough, I ordered a WHOPPING two copies of SWHR adventures #2 and they are now showing they took one of them away from my shipment. WTH!
I just don’t have the time and money to waste on places that won’t show any attention to details. Very frustrating. I moved my pull-list elsewhere a few weeks back, hoping for some better results. My comics always arrived in great condition from MCS, but need more shipping flexibility.
I also got an email from TFAW and it seems they had damaged books for Star Wars High Republic #1 and they can’t seem to replace them. TFAW stated I won’t be penalized if i remove these books off my order. So it looks like I am out of a bunch of SWHR #1 including 3 Han variants.
I’m still waiting on an email response.
Well, Midtown throws my books in a sack with nothing to prevent them from sliding around. Doesn’t even tape the stack of books together and surprise, the books got @#$@#. The cardboard box they came in looked immaculate, not one sign of outer damage. I’m not convinced somebody didn’t drop them before they went in the box.
Go through the trouble of sending pictures of damage and for my troubles, they offer me a 25% off credit, or I can pay full return shipping and they will give me a refund.
Well, let’s just say, I told them to stick it where the sun don’t shine. I hope the $19 worth of comics was worth all the dollars/business I’ve spent, because will never do business with them again. Don’t care if they run a 99% off sale, lol.
