I talked with them on the phone once and they were nice.
Got a TFAW package yesterday and was worried. Looks like USPS and DHL had fun with the box with one corner severely crushed, what looks like was almost a complete hole on the top punched through and then another less banged up corner job. I was worries but all the books were pristine condition. The comics stacked inside the larger bag and sealed to keep from sliding around with peanuts I think saved the day. Kudos to the warehouse worker who packed this one over there at TFAW. @RipCityGamer

My last shipments have been packed extremely well, somewhere around 100-140 comics worth.
Must be nice, my last shipment I got on Monday had just the comics thrown into the peanuts with no way of securing them together so they had shifted all around and dinged some corners of the boards.
I’ve had a few arrive like that too but no damages cause the boxes didn’t look like they were tossed around or roughed up.

Annoyed. Not sure why TFAW wouldn’t hold the one book and ship it with the rest of my order.
Would rather not have just one book ship at $5.

Has anyone else’s TFAW order been “processing” since June 3rd, which was a week later than it was supposed to ship? I don’t understand what the delay is, considering all the books are there already. Anybody else as bewildered as I?

I’ve had some take about a week before they actually ship myself. They’re just playing catchup I think still…

No matter how large or small, mine always take 1 week to process and ~8 days of shipping.
EDIT: DHL is just the worst. I think USPS would be faster.

My order shipped out today after a week process I believe its through FEDEX and said should arrive next Thurs.

Thanks for the responses, guys. It’s just weird because I remember everything used to process on Tuesdays and would always ship that following weekend. Things are just so different now. I guess they’re just bogged down as you said, Poyo.
Yeah, if FedEx and Diamond would get them their books by Tuesday, one day they might start processing again once caught up. I think it’s hard to get back up when someone is slightly kicking you while you’re still down… at least that’s the way I see things.

Entire packaging is secure with bubble wrap + packing peanuts, ratios between cardboard. Cover A was 12 comics per bubble wrap bag but not individually bagged/boarded. Everything in great shape. I had ordered a slab from Villain Gaming before and the packaging was overkill, first order of raw comics.

I ordered last Wednesday and the books came to me laser fast in 2-day priority shipping.
Nice packaging, Gemini, with the five books bundled together with bubble wrap inside. Pristine corners and no complaints! Great branding, also, @faele !

I like to put shop stickers on the short boxes. I have over 200 short boxes and not all have stickers on them.

With TFAW I do every other week shipping. So, because of the Diamond issues and the SSLLLLOOWWWW processing, the books from 5/19 still haven’t even shipped.
It’s a bummer to go to the LCS on Weds and see the new books you’re fired up about, knowing they won’t arrive at your house for a month. I really like a LOT about TFAW, but this endless processing stuff is starting to wear on me. Sadly, no one in my area has an ordering system anywhere near TFAW’s. I’d have to [gulp] call my LCS and talk to another human being. That’s how cavemen ordered their comics thousands of years ago. No thanks.
