This show is putting me to sleep…the writing is so boring and lazy.
They are cramming so much in and the last episode is next week…

@monopolyjackson I have to agree with you. I just haven’t really gotten into this show whatsoever. Absolutely end up sleeping to it (the last two weeks especially). My least favorite of every Disney + show thus far. Can’t even put my finger on it either. Acting/roles are fine…it’s just a little bit “too extra” as my wife puts it.

I’m with you on Moon Knight. I thought EP1 was fantastic. Maybe one of the best single episodes of the MCU tv series, but since then, it’s gone downhill fast. Now, I haven’t watched today’s episode yet, but usually I’m pretty fired up for a new episode, and with this, I could take it or leave it.
My purely subjective rankings:

Can’t agree with you all here. I think this show has so much depth and substance to it. Without giving away spoilers, this latest episode dealt with so much of the human psyche and I was all in for it. It was kind of emotional for me as well. I really love how different this series is, the pace, and production. I could do with some more action, but that is my only criticism.

Ethan Hawke is terribly wasted.
Very sub-par based on my expectations of Disney/Marvel. Probably a decent show by DC standards. Lol
It’s so weird to see how everyone feels in here, because watching this show is the first time I’ve ever cared about Moon Knight at all.

I’m way behind, only having watched 1 through 3 but I haven’t been as engaged with it as I’d hoped. Gotta catch up and see where they’re going.
The beauty here is that we can all hate or love this, and we’re all right. For example, I absolutely adore Big Trouble in Little China. A top 10 movie for me. My wife thinks I’m completely insane for loving it.

Out of all the directions they could have gone with this show, it’s really not that great. Bushman, Stained Glass Scarlett, the Committee, werewolves, etc…. they chose to focus too much on the split personality stuff. At least Oscar Isaac is really talented.

Honestly thought that episode was insane and maybe one of the best episodes of any marvel show. I’m not a huge Moon Knight fan but I thought it was crazy and really bold how the explored Marc’s trauma and abusive home life which leads to him creating the Steven persona as a way to basically push away all that trauma and when his mom died the Steven persona really came out more . Yeah its not the most actiony show but I do like the approach to exploring the introspection and multiple personalities within Marc and think its a really deep show and touches on some topics that I haven’t seen any of the other mcu shows handle

I am enjoying that aspect. But I was expecting more of this. I haven’t watched todays episode so maybe I’ll be surprised.
I still like the show. Just not as much as the others which where great.
