Peach Momoko

I got both as well. I am on a 30 day no kickstarter ban. I have backed way to many kickstarters in the last 30 days. I am not even allowed to look at kickstarters per my wife, the boss.

I’m sending you all kinds of kickstarter links
I think I’m gonna make them into CHU articles as well

Been looking for days for any kind of deal on this 1:50 for below $100 found one today, some selling as high 4x ratio doesn’t even come out for a couple months.

That one is pretty good.

I actually like that one. I’m not a Peach “hater” at all
it’s just a style I typically like. This doesn’t look like her other work imo. I still won’t buy it
but I do like it lol.

I like that cover. I noticed there is a 1:100 virgin of the peach cover. Curious if it is a spec opportunity

Agreed, I think that’s her best work in a while. But I won’t be purchasing, either.

Tfaw has them up for pre-order as well.

The Spider-Woman Momoko that is.

FOC is 9/28
holy cow you got some time in that one

Better lock them in now if you want multiple before they knock it down to 1 per on the pre-orders

Pffff
only your beloved TFAW does that

Apparently. It’s definitely something new
which is odd. Maybe they don’t like money

That is a really nice cover. I can see Peach fans buying that one. I snagged a copy for my collection.

That cover is so normal and those boobs are so in proportion that it doesn’t even seem like Momoko did that cover.

Surprise Mega Man midnight drop on Scorpion comics. It has already sold out of the virgin sets. Caught people off guard with this one. Trade dress still available. https://www.scorpioncomics.com/shop/x0s0149f8qvr6ziivl9v41gzazgtlw

That’s pretty cool looking. I bought a trade dress one!

I think they purposely hold back some issues and quickly launch a second or third print. I wouldn’t be surprised if those economics are significantly higher than just selling 1st prints.
It might sound horrible to fans and collectors but from a business standpoint it might make sense. Biggest risk I see is good will and losing customers due to the gauging (90’s again). With that said, print runs are still smaller and the market is now global opposed to the 90’s so there is probably some wiggle room.

Who?

As much as I like Mega Man and most of Peach’s stuff, I can’t bother paying that much

Looks like sellers have already flooded the market with the virgin too, none have sold
