Hope your dog gets well soon.
I want to Thank everyone again for the out pouring support I’ve been getting!
I’ve been posting updates on my facebook (Gabriel Cruz Cruzzer)
Valley Fever has been ruled out…
I seriously think he ate something and it got caught or he has Leptospirosis
Coach is home safe and sound. They weren’t able to get his fever down much more today. But…he’s a little stronger and ate a small amount at the Vet. Those are all good signs.
We’ll be setting up the IV and giving him his IV fluids at home thru the weekend. He came home and ate and drank a small amount from his bowls and is sleeping now after a long day. Progress is being made albeit it slow. Lab work should be in by Monday.
Thank You for your continued vibes and prayers.
…
The odds are great
But my spirit is strong,
My faith unbreakable…
Dogs are the best friends we’ll ever have, so I am pulling for you guys!
Glad to hear he is doing a little better! Crazy that they don’t know whats wrong!
#CoachTheDog 's fever of 106-104 is finally gone after 10-12 days. There were nights i would not sleep trying to keep watch and him cool all night. My anxiety, worry and my LOVE for him have been at an all time high but my nerves are finally calming down. I want to Thank everyone who reached out and assisted in one or another. We hope he gets better and stronger. I certainly owe a lot of you.
Here I am keeping tabs on your story and very happy things are looking good and today I lose my little guy out of the blue. Cherish your boy cause I’m missing my guy terribly.
R.I.P. Gus.
I’m so sorry.
Sorry to hear Tony.
Damn. I’ve always wanted a Frenchie. I’m making videos of mine and writing stories about him as I care for him cause my gf told me that I’ll have to be prepared to let my Coach cross the rainbow Bridge someday. I’d love to see photos of all the other pups people have here.
So sorry to hear about your loss.
I’m really pulling for Coach!! I know the struggles you are going through my friend…
Here is a pic of my boy Wrigley and his best friend Stella…I had to make the hardest decision of my life 6 months ago and say goodbye to him. He made it all the way to 15yrs old! It was one of the toughest days of my life…
Our Vet actually came to our house to put Wrigley to rest. He had been his Vet for the whole 15yrs. He even said this was the toughest one he had to do. After it was done and they left…my wife and me stepped out onto our back porch to get some air and exit the now eerily quiet house. My wife looked up into the sky…gasped…and pointed and said…“Oh My God…look…I don’t believe it.”
On a perfectly sunny day with not a cloud in the sky…there it was…Wrigley’s Rainbow Bridge!! It still brings tears to my eyes and chills to my skin.
We miss you buddy!!! …and so does Stella…
My beautiful little friend Chewie. He crossed over to the rainbow bridge lat year on June 6th. We held him at our home as he passed. One of the hardest things I’ve ever done. He had a late developing, genetic form of epilepsy called Laforas Disease. We couldn’t bare to watch him suffer. I miss him terribly. He made me happy and helped ease my PTSD. Funny how our furry friends just “know”.
I trust he’s chasing rabbits and waiting for me & the Mrs.
I’ll continue to think of you & Coach.
Hey Cruzzer. You and Coach have been in my thoughts and prayers. It has been tough to check this thread as I lost my best friend Archie on Valentine’s Day this year. He was with me for 13 wonderful years. I keep checking to make sure Coach is doing well. Please let me know if you or Coach need anything.
I’m so sorry for your loss, Tony. I know he knew how much you loved him. And you know he loved you too.
These furry guys never really leave you. The dog I grew up with was with me until I was 19. He was 18. A Great dog, best friend and he still enters my thoughts often. Glad he was able to be my pal if only for a portion of my life. I wish they would be able to hang around a lot longer but that’s not how it works. Still miss him though.
I wonder if I can convert this to “The Pets of CHu”
I think we had one already.
I thought that’s what he meant….combine it with it.
What’s the update on Coach?
