Retailer incentives heating up

Remember, Disney has it’s overall costs but there’s departmental billing going on and budgeting within. Not everyone is treated equal when a corporation owns multiple businesses, ec.

That’s recent change… McFarlane comes and goes but for the most part has been writing Spawn. I think Rory took over on issue #327, which was just on March 9th. Prior to that issue, McFarlane was listed as primary writer. So that can only mean one thing, Spawn likely just got an upgrade in it’s writing more than likely…

Don’t like the paper. Stop buying the books.

We say that about shop exclusives too…people just keep buying them and feeding the monster though.

If you want a 9.8 Marvel book, you need to chase it in release day.

Some of us can’t do that. My nearest LCS is 2 1/2 hrs one way…Not going to happen for me. I could wait and take a trip over a weekend, but by then most of the books are gone.

Online pre orders is pretty much all I can do, or stop buying the books altogether which would suck. It’s been over a year since I bought a store exclusive.

Its not all paper that Marvel books are bring printed on. It looks like there may be a shortage of the paper they normally use, so 1 or 2 books a week are on this worse paper stock. It sucks that it was a #1 that had this issue this week.

Proably down to which printers and their own suppliers, since I’m pretty sure Marvel likely isn’t using one printer to do all their books…

No these are obviously not from their regular printer.

Anyone know which books paper sucks this week other than the staple issue?

Or is the paper the root cause of the pages becoming detached?

Lol. Yeah. They are taking too long between seasons.

No idea if this will heat up, and my guess is you either really love this or really hate this, but I thought this was a pretty interesting cover for Batman 124. It’s the 1:25. I feel compelled to find Waldo in this.

it almost has a Moebius feel to it for some reason, but I just can’t put my finger on why…

Sorta like Geoff Darrow did the pencils and Moebius did the inks/colors

That is an awesome cover.

Different, in a very good way.

This gets my vote for prettiest incentive of the week. Okay, maybe tied with the Frison Nightmare Country. Both are really great.

I’m surprised this book didn’t get more heat. Elektra 100. I don’t even know if anything happens in the comic. Zero buzz. I ordered a couple copies…

It’s like a mix of Brandon Graham and Nick Pitarra, which is a very good thing in my book.

There was some buzz around it when the cover was revealed. But, I thought it would warm up more. I got my copy pretty cheap, and I’m content with keeping it in the PC.

good bartel ratios are long term holds. dr aphra 6 ratio still goes for good money
