my LCS promised me the 1:25 for 75 bucks canadian…this was a week ago… they are always good to me so I hope that is the case lol.
I was in my lcs a few Friday’s ago and they were opening up boxes containing next weeks’s DC books.
I got A shipment of Captain marvel 18 in the mail today too from an online shop.
That’s probably how the original guy on the YouTube video had access they shipped a week early with the current shipment.
So we’ve pretty much covered the Legends book. I’m still sort of on the fence about how much I want to spend/go in on relative to the DM#3 Federici cover? It won’t be a first in regards to either character or cover, but still may be a very good book. I think there will plenty of DM#3, but how many of that particular cover? It is also a very nice cover which also bodes well for it.
Thoughts?
Stick with Legends for the most part, I do see the Metal #3 Robin King cover maintaining its price because it was a different cover most of foc and changed so shops prob went heavy cover A and never updated their orders when the cover swap was made before foc ended. But it will also have to compete with Peach. I feel I can skip out on Peach Metal #3 because it lost a lot of appeal with Legends being spoiled prior to it going on sale.
I forgot I ordered a couple of the DM#3 “Opena” cover from a place. It will be interesting to see if I end up getting the Federici or if it will be cancelled/replaced with something else. I have so many varied orders in all over the place it’s crazy.
Funny thing is the answer to Robin King has been staring us in the face the whole time. Every cover he has black hair. The Robin Goblins all have green hair because they were gassed by Joker. Batman killed Joker and was also gassed and becomes Batman Who Laughs and chains the Robins to him.
The degree of pushback I’m seeing about this topic and the Legends book is a bit surprising. If it was just completely unfounded or months out/pure spec…sure…argue the topic back and forth till the cows come home.
There must have been an awful lot of people, who ordered an awful lot of DM#3 and aren’t real happy about this chain of events.
Where are you seeing this pushback?
Varied FB groups, a couple different articles about it in the spec and comic world that have been posted in the last day. Some saying there is an agenda to force folks toward a lesser printed book. Instagram posts with arguments. Some arguing it is just a stand-along book that doesn’t fit within the other Metal books narrative, etc.
Like I said…if we were all just guessing…I get it…arguments on spec is half the fun sometimes. But this one is a done deal. The book is out there/images released, and in hand already for some shops. I’m just not sure what there is to argue about over it at this point.
To quote a wise man “ So when you hear people being vocally negative about a book it means they are pissed they missed it. Period.”
That’s funny as hell actually. I can’t wait to see people I’ve never seen before come to the lcs and say they are looking for a copy “just to read”. People definitely mad that they missed the boat.
DM2 is still 1st Darkest Knight, and it’s a full 1st despite what KCC just added.
Seems like every seller on eBay has 15+ copies of legends for sale. So is it not underprinted?
Darkest Knight in the black shadowy form might be full 1st/2nd app in Legends though.
I think there’s enough in DM2 to say it’s a 1st full. He’s shadowy all the time, and he says who he is. He’s seen in full IMO.
@Alana ya but my point is whats the winnee what matters more his 1st full or the robin king 1st full in legend
