Robin King 1st App?

Unless I’m losing my ability to see color, his hair is definitely black. You can even see it clearly in the whispering panel the difference with his green gloves.

Snyder promoted Metal 2, not Titans 12 because he wrote metal 2 and he didn’t write Titans. So he pushed people towards his book. This time he wrote both legends and death metal so he’s got no reason to push one over the other or misdirect.

Alana, for f$*k’s sake… I’m not saying don’t buy Legends. I’m not saying it’s not important. All I am saying is, it’s pretty f$*king obvious that the Robin in DM2 will be the same Robin as Robin King in DM3… not sure why you’re saying he’s not, but he is… according to the creators own words and what we’ve seen so far.

I don’t give a shit about Roblin Goblins in another completely different title and story written by Tynion… I’m talking about current Death Metal.

Exactly… just like the other pics you posted of Roblin Goblins… Tynion wrote that, not Snyder.

Seems like it’s black with greenish highlights… But the artwork doesn’t really matter when the creator is saying what is what. That’s the artist doing black, green, etc…

Ok so how do you have two Bruce Wayne’s in the same story one old Batman Who Laughs and one young Robin King in the same timeline from the same Earth E-22 and then they didn’t know of each other until now. Makes no sense

Is Cable going to Time Travel and bring Robin King to Batman Who Laughs?

Like why didn’t the Robin Goblin in the last three years not tell Batman Who Laughs I’m Batman in a Christian Bale voice.

It’s all make belief… We have men shooting lasers out of their eyes and defying gravity, of course it doesn’t make sense… it’s all fiction. You taking it a bit too serious. The amount of stories getting pumped out these days, they are always going to be plot holes, changes to story, origins, what not… you can’t hold them all to the same story when there’s dozens of writers writing the same characters in multiverses and dimensions with flying dragons that have robin heads on them… :man_facepalming:

And since one of Batman Who Laughs powers is to read the minds of other Bruce Waynes well he would definitely feel a disturbance in the force right away.

The whole reason Wonder Woman is the lead of Death Metal is because Batman Who Laughs knows everything Bruce Wayne could think of. So how is he going to have another Bruce Wayne by his side for years and not know?

Occam’s Razor - the more assumptions you have to make, the more unlikely an explanation.

Exactly… Robin in DM2 is asked to be his Robin King. I’m gonna say he’s Robin King in DM3… the simplest is the likeliest…

You want to discount hit origin like it doesn’t exist because Tynion wrote it do you also want to disregard Batman Who Laughs powers like they don’t exist to make it work better for you.

No, I’m only arguing based on what Snyder has said and the current Death Metal books that have come out.

For the record, I ordered 1 Death Metal #2 and 4 x Legends… I don’t argue to pump any book if that’s what you’re implying. Are you?

I have Metal #2s as well and it’s great book that’s key as hell for Darkest Knight, there’s a lot of things that point to us not fully understanding what’s going on in Death Metal #2 Robin King exchange between Robin goblin and Batman Who Laughs so hopefully we get our answers in Death Metal #3

Tynion has nothing to do with it. I would say the same thing if Tomasi wrote it… or one of the many other DC writers wrote it.

What I’m saying is, these event books and characters have stories coming in at all different writers and angles… I’m stating that since Synder, the creator of Robin King says we witness him in DM2 that extends into DM3, that the Robin we see is in fact, the Robin King we will get in DM3. I’m not even talking about Legends at this point… I’m sticking to, Robin in DM2 will be Robin King in DM3. It’s not that hard to comprehend.

Now, if you were the writer at DC, who created the Robin King, then maybe I’d take your word over Snyder if he was sitting here trying to argue otherwise… but I think you’re over stretching this whole thing by a bit much… it’s just comics, made up stories. They’re not REAL!

Only in comics can this many like minded people all argue about the same thing. I love it.

We will all find out soon. Maybe, unless it changes 5 years later like Knull ;-).

Great work by all.

It could be as simple as the Robin Goblin is one of the kids that saw Robin King on his rampage before he was kidnapped by Joker and tells BWL about him. But that still doesn’t explain two different aged Bruce Wayne’s on the same Earth in the same timeline.

Sometimes I wonder if the writers don’t have it all figured out yet, which drives readers/collectors to buy everything since nobody knows what’s going on. :joy:

Until someone at DC writes it… you can theorize all you want. I’m just gonna stick to Snyder’s own words. Saying otherwise is just silly.

Arguing the creator is wrong in this sense would be like:

Alana: Hey agentpoyo, nice drawing of a shark.
Me: That’s not a shark, that’s a dolphin.
Alana: Nah you’re wrong, it’s a shark, since it appears to have sharp teeth.
Me: Well, I was drawing a evil dolphin with sharp teeth, but it’s not a shark.
Alana: But dolphins don’t have sharp teeth like that?
Me: Mine does…
Alana: So it’s a shark…
Me: Sigh…
