Mandalorian is more like Lone Wolf and Cub.
The Lone Ranger is basically a white Bass Reeves.

Agreed, but my point was more to the actual plotlines of the stories/episodes themselves as the basis for my apathy towards them anymore. I find just about any of these âcharactersâ fascinating and worthy of my attention (likely why I buy every single darn action figure it seems)âŠitâs the plotlines that become redundant to me and I guess that was my point (that I must have made poorly).
Characters are always going to have to be some form of archetype. Iâm ok with that. Tragic hero, unwilling, anti-hero, groupâŠwhatever. I suppose in the endâŠfolks stick with what works and what has stood the test of time. Hard to argue with tried and true recipes for success.
Shang-Chi seemed quite different to me. For one it is the first martial arts movie in the MCU and the family dynamic was interesting with a twist, it is also the first MCU movie to explore East Asian mythos to some extent.
Shang Chi was actually quite good. Much better than the turd that was the Black Widow movie.
Of the last 3, I liked Eternals the most.
Eternals wasnât bad but it was a little drawn out.
