Pretty simple.
FYI, Black Cape’s exclusives seem to be with Lesser known independents, and pretty low print runs (50-300 looking at their most recent ones). And they don’t seem to be into the whole virgin + trade dress gimmick which I dislike. We’ll see what this one ends up as, but as I said above I’m interested.
I stopped by their shop when vacationing in Maine…nice people (as most in ME are). Haven’t bought an exclusive from them before but may grab this one if the price is right.
I want one.

we are up to 7 store covers now for SIKTC #11 ? wouldnt be suprised to see one from Comic Mint and 2-3 others.
Imagine there will be a Peach Momoko one next 
I think she is fairly booked up this month 
The 1:50 is an awful cover removed it from my preorders
She cranks out finished art so fast I don’t think she could ever be booked up. When she helped us with our charity print during Eisner week she went from explaining her idea when I was signing off for the night, to sending a print ready final by the time I came in the next morning.

Francesco Francavilla explained the process of pumping out art at Mondo Con a few years back during a panel. He claimed a good artist should be able to pump out a cover in about a day and should average a couple of pages of interiors a day from what I recall. Claimed if you’re an artist in this industry and you want to survive doing it for a living, if you take ages to pump out art, you’ll never make it.
Issue 9 had 2 covers, issue 10 had 3 covers, and issue 11 is now up to a minimum of 13 covers, depending on how many trade/virgin/foil/covered-in-human-blood variants stores offer.
Is this simply because the title is so popular? It sounds like a new story arc starts with 11, so is this more than just popularity and more of a restart of the book with the new story?
issue 11 starts new ark i believe, so there trying to get new people to jump on board. also stores are doing it to get the incentives which were selling for high premiums. but now market will be flooded
She should get that checked out
