I was hoping to get a signed + remark for around $125, but they want $230. I’ll just laugh and save my money.
I passed, too. Thought about getting a blue label, but I stumbled upon a really good price for an issue 1 3rd print CGC 9.8, so I went that route instead.
Well that sucked. Got an email last week telling me this was going on sale…but didn’t give specifics. Found out here it was on sale…
Went in and added it to my cart…had to create and account…then Finally got to check out and it was sold out.
$30 is pretty steep anyway…but I had a $5 coupon and they gave me a 15% discount when I visited their store back in August when I vacationed in Maine…so was going to use them…or one of them…
Get a blue label 9.8. Those are still around, and probably a better deal at $65 anyway.
I wasn’t willing to pay $30…And Therefore I am not paying $65 for this book.
I don’t like any of the covers without the mask on
book is fully returnable, there will be a flood of incentives.
Fully returnable? That’s bad. Very bad…I’d order 100,000 and just sell the 1:100’s…return the rest.
I’m a jerk.
FOC ended a week ago when was fully returnable announced
Every publisher has some sort of returnability program. Image has one for 1st issues. Boom has one called “Boom Guarantee”.
Dept of truth is fully returnable under Images program.
SIKTC Issue 11 is NOT returnable, not listed under " Boom Guarantee"
as for announcing, its usually listed during FOC week ( at the latest)
An example is this weeks Unkindness of Ravens #2
and you can. but just remember that you have to pay for those 100,000 first before you get anything
Max out that credit card!
And usually Diamond does a credit on your account for returns or damages. So hopefully you can afford to not get cash back.

AUG208858 SOMETHING IS KILLING CHILDREN #11 CVR D THANK YOU VARIANT (1 per store that ordered SIKTC)
Print run on this could potentially be around 2500.
Is there a minimum copy buy-in? Or simply, “you ordered at least one copy of 11, so here’s the thank you issue.”
Usually, retailers get the Thank You variants for any order amount, even if it’s 1 copy.
From Bleedingcool:
But now that Big Tynion Energy has hit an unprecedented level as the final orders for Something Is Killing The Children #11 have not only come in higher than the final orders for Something Is Killing The Children #1, but are higher than issue #1’s total sales with all 6 printings combined at 60,929 copies.
And, issues 9 and 10 are getting 2nd prints.
