Plus you have to consider the fact that the story is just good and people like the series and keep buying it. It’s not false demand or false scarcity or hyped up garbage, it’s a solid comic series that people are buying because they like it.

One of the LCS here is selling the 8th print for $50, removed all the coupon codes from the foil cover of BRZRKR saying they are no participating in the event. Now they are sitting with copies everyone wants but no one is willing to pay that much, bunch of morons. Then they cry they aren’t making money.

I was lucky that my LCS followed the rules. They found out at the last moment about the promotion. They honored the promo if you had the coupon and purchased the 2nd print for them. Then held the copies behind the counter for any regular customers who had the Brzrkr comic on their pull list before selling any extra issues.

Call them out openly. If they don’t participate in the giveaway, they should send those FREE copies back.

I don’t buy from them so that’s a fight for the people that bought the foils wanting the 8th print. My LCS is doing it properly and have confirmed my copy once shipment arrives.

This is pathetic. My LCS manager had one pulled for me and I didn’t even ask. He just thought I’d want one. He is always friendly and we get into conversations not only about comic books, but about life in general. This is what an LCS’ SHOULD be. It’s building community and that’s so important in these times. I’m sorry your shop looks to take advantage of people.

The siktc 8th print isn’t even worth much now. Go on ebay and tons of copies for $10 lol

Luckily it’s not my shop, just one of the LCS in the surrounding area 
the shop I choose to support does things properly and the owner is great and always enjoy the conversations we have and the 50% discounts on CGC books he throws my way

And also considering why it exists, it was setup as a promo and free. That tells me, we shouldn’t even have an 8th printing of issue #1 as the demand is no longer there. FOMO! Studios loves to print on marketing tactics to make a book more appealing (in demand) than it really is.
I followed the “rules” and bought my copies of
1&2 to get my “free” copy. I have two.
Now to try to recoup some of the “cost” of my “free” comic trying to sell Brzrkr 1&2 as a set below cover.
