Yeah, that’s rare to jack up pre-release. They started doing it on ratio types for the most part about a year and a half ago, normally going by secondary prices instead of what they normally price the ratios at.
Yeah. Not supporting Midtown much longer. Jacking up prices on pre-releases when you ‘magically’ find more copies is not where I spend my $$$$.

If this book can ultimately hold at half of what Spawn #306 Gunslinger cover is at, I’ll be happy. Pretty much the exact same scenario playing out on this issue. Pretty good performance for 2 out of last 3 issues of a regular, non variant, open order book.

All of my orders have a status of “shipped.” I’d say I’m in the clear.

Apparently there is a shit storm brewing with Unknown Comics canceling orders for Spawn #309 saying there was a duplicate listing that should not have been up as a result they cannot fulfill the books. People are claiming the are pulling them to sell elsewhere and at a higher price. I have some coming from them and have not received a cancelation yet I ordered early, so hopefully it does not effect my orders.

I’ve Never known them to do this…they’re not a small shop struggling…they’re very much a new comic and store variant machine. A silly spawn cover means really nothing to their bottom line.
I can’t see them wanting this kind of negative publicity…doesn’t make sense…

I had 2 with my order from 8/7. Just got cancelled this evening. They sat on the order for over 2 weeks which is the worst part IMO.
Hes leaving out the part he wrote in the other thread he ordered after FOC. Shit move to cancel so close but the order was placed after FOC. And I’m guessing the other cancellations mentioned pertain to that link for preorder which was a duplicate listing.

If u ordered and in the caption had the original release date. That’s the only orders I’ve seen being mentioned as cancelled because that link was still available after FOC of 8/3
I have no idea. All I have is a PayPal confirmation of my order. I don’t know what they had the release date as.

Refreshed for 2 hours only for MCS to put NM- up for $20. Ugh
Awful lot of saltiness out there over this issue. Hoping all of you on here got ahold of at least one.
I’ve always been a huge fan and while I think some may have tired of me beating the drum of some of these Spawn issues…in the end…it was worth the post.
