If you are selling on ebay, now through ebay payments whether you choose to accept refunds or not, ebay will still allow the customer to return for a full refund including shipping or partial refund if you work it out with customer. If im reading it correctly what you described you would be out the shipping to them and then the return shipping also and also the 4% paypal fees. Depending on what you are selling you could potentially be taking a loss on the sale.
Not to get too far off topic but in certain instances ive offered a partial refund rather than take the hit on return shipping and 4% paypal fees,
When I sell my codes with these books, the buyer is getting the code intact via inside the book. No ifs or buts⊠if they donât like it, they can buy elsewhere. So yeah, donât email, ship, send any product prior to payment.
And yes, I knew what happened. Better lay the ground rules out there. Say, this digital code will come with the actual product. No, you will not get it prior to that. Iâm selling you a comic with a code in it, digital codes are not allowed per eBay rules and policies.
I have sold several copies now and the books have shipped out. With the code intact. I donât want someone to get the. Ok and claim the code was used already (by them) and get their money back.
I used to sell the TCG codes for Pokemon. I wrote in the description that code will be send once payment was made and had emails back and forth stating that they got the code. Luckly they where only $2 codes so no one scammed me. But that does suck to send a $100 code to back fire.
I thought I was covered as it was a physical card with a code on it.
They immediately canceled that transaction after I sent it and ghosted me.
I learned the hard way for sure.
Yeah, next time send the card with the code on it, donât give via email. You can even state, youâre selling a âcardâ that happens to have a digital code on it.
was not available for initial order, only final order cutoff (although DC did then delay the final order date, giving retailers a second week to make adjustments before locking in orders).
I came across the books 3/2/21 and posted on 3/3/21. Foc was originally 3/7/21 but pushed back to 3/14. So there was a small window for sure. This works to our advantage.
