I have a cover A venom 7 but only the FF villians cover of venom 9 
Codex is dead. I doubt Ewing is going to revive the character from another universe. Near future is more like far future if that character ever gets revived.

My prediction is that Codex and Dylan/Venom will have a major rivalry going forward. The good Dylan versus the bad. Sounds pretty bad ass to me.

Definitely could be a long time. We’ll see what happens. I’m excited to see where Ewing takes it.

So I only have CGC/CBCS census numbers to go buy, but here they are…venom #7 secret tongue variant vs. venom #9 1:10 incentive animation variant.
7 - 636 (478 9.8s 114 9.6s)
9 = 591 (250 9.8s, 247 9.6s)
Similar totals graded….but looks like the 1:10 is tougher to get in 9.8.

Venom #9 2nd print will be the book to own for Dylan. Lower print, and better cover.

It would be if he was on the cover.
That is irrelevant in this case as he, Dylan, is not on the cover of #9 1st, or animation either, or on the cover to #7 1st, hidden, or 2nd. He’s not on any of the covers, hence, why this is up for debate.
