Star Wars: Ahsoka Disney+ show

That would be cool if this is the intro of Starkiller. Too bad his first appearance isn’t a comic book and its considered a graphic novel.

Didn’t hurt Bo-Katan’s first.

Either way, I belief Galen is dead. But it could be a relative or a character that took his name as a successor.

Galen is Legends material and therefore beholden to no official continuity until such time as Lucasfilm officially makes him canon.

Technically, thanks to Andor, Starkiller has been recognized in canon.

Since Anakin is showing up, do I need to see The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi first before I dive into Ahsoka? I’ve seen A New Hope but not the other 2.

Yes! Not so much for Ahsoka but because Empire was an amazing film! Jedi is a fun watch as well.

This kinda wraps up what you need, and then some. The Anakin scenes likely will refer back to Ashoka’s training in Clone Wars and their meeting in Rebels.

So I just saw the first 2 episodes and there’s one thing that bugs me. It may be that I’m just getting older and it’s an old man yells at clouds moment. But why is it in every show where there’s a padawan or an apprentice, they’re always so snooty and extremely unlikable. I found Sabrine completely insufferable.

Why can’t shows with the master and apprentice trope have an apprentice that’s actually an honor student? Is that too much to ask?

Ahsoka should have…

Yeah. So far, I’m finding this very paint-by-numbers. As a filthy casual, I’m normally fine with tropes in Star Wars, so I don’t know why it’s bugging me now.

Because it makes so little sense. The dialogue is ridiculous.

Sabrine disobeys direct orders and steals the star map from her master. Then loses it which could potentially start a war that will kill billions.

Sabrine: I’m sorry master, let me go with you.
Ahsoka: No, you have done enough
Hera: You know, she deserves another chance.

Have you watched rebels? That’s pretty in line with Sabine’s character.

Kanan actually tried to train Sabine first when she acquired the dark Sabre. She was difficult then too. I can only imagine with age comes more stubbornness.

Back then she was training to be leader of the Mandalorians. So there was a lot of weight on her shoulders/expectations. What I don’t get is what is her motivation now. And she should be using her mandalorian skill set (including armor and bag of tricks) to compensate for lack of the force.

Man this Dark Sabre is the herpes of the GFFA

Liking this theory that he’s Ezra. Makes a Lot of sense, and an awesome plot twist.

With Ahsoka training Sabine…this would set up a Sabine / Ezra duel where he’ll likely be faced with striking her down, or coming back from the (quasi) Dark Side….

Unfortunately, the official Star Wars databank has all but debunked that rumor, as the timing and events don’t line up for Marrok to be Ezra.

I don’t think Ezra being the mystery inquisitor makes sense because if Ezra made it back or was recovered wouldn’t Thrawn also have had made it back?

Bingo. That’s what I said. How he bacc AND evil and no Thrawn.
