This is interesting. Every rumor i’d heard is that this is a high republic show with young Jedi. If this is correct and it’s post ROTJ could this be young Jedi from Luke’s academy?

Guess all those High Republic rumors were bs…

You never know. Still could be in the works somewhere. I love the High Republic but I’d actually be cool with waiting a little on that if we get Luke’s Academy stuff while he’s still in good enough shape to be a part of it.

What site is that from? I was skeptical of the HR shows outside of the confirmed Acolyte show because the original source was a sketchy one at best, but if that’s from We Got This Covered, Giant Freaking Robot, or a similar site, it’s likely BS garbage.

I want a Star Wars themed remake of “The Goonies”. HEEEEEEYYY YOU GUYSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Another one. Odd situation. Super small shop that says their shopping cart site will be up in a few days. Selling as a FB claim sale until then.

Claim Sale

I’m sure that will end well.

Terrible art. That…damn…floating…head…

So what stories come after Return of the Jedi, but before Force Awakens ?

We got the Mandalorian show…Ahsoka show…now a John Watt’s directed show…

Only TV/Movies? Book of Boba Fett. Also, Resistance. Season 1 takes place before the events of TFA. Season 2 in its aftermath.

It’s a pipe dream, but I’d still love to see the story of Baron Fel. Married to Wedge’s sister, really good story and character. Ties to Admiral Thrawn and the Chiss as a whole. Could incorporate some amazing space battles/conflicts and a side we haven’t yet seen (story told from the Imperial side of things). Story could easily start right up after the Battle of Endor.

I of course love the comics so that would simply be a plus.

Watts’ show will take place closely after the events of Return of the Jedi , much the same way as The Mandalorian, as far as time period.

Here;s a tin foil theory for you guys

So not just Jordan Maison thought Grammar Rodeo was High Republic. Bespin Bulletin backed it up as well from their own sources. This makes me think that there will be some High Republic tie ins to the show. Here’s the tin foil part…

If the “leaks” had some merit. And if there is some High Republic element to the show then a logical place to start could be the Amaxine Station. This is where the Drengir were trapped by the Sith long ago before Reath, Orla, Cohmac and co. released them in Into The Dark.

Snoke also lived there as seen in Rise of Kylo Ren when he met Kylo Ren.

One thing that always kind of bothered me is that we never got an answer as to why Ben Solo hear sSnoke’s voice in his head. At least as far as I know its not talked about. But something had to have happened otherwise Palpatine would be doing this to people all along. And we can see from The Rise of Kylo #2 that he’s been in Ben’s head since he was pretty young.

This could be a great opportunity for Ben and his padawan homies to sneak off to explore the Amaxine Station. That would be introduced to the audience as a great source of the Dark side that Luke comes across. Promoting him to tell the kids to stay tf away from it. They don’t listen or have to accompany Luke there for something and get into some trouble or something else.

Whatever it is it leads to these pre-teen padawans being on the station. Where they have some crazy interactions with the dark side and/or relics. Potentially encountering more Drengir or some other dark side force that bonds Snoke/Palpatine with Ben. Leading him down the path to becoming Kylo.

This is probably not going to happen. But here are a few reasons why I think something similar could

  1. It will allow us to potentially learn more about snoke’s backstory. How he ended up on the station and in Ben’s head.
  2. Charles Soule is on the writing team for THR, wrote The Rise of Kylo and recently announced he’s been brought on as a creative consultant for Lucasfilm
  3. Its a great way to introduce the casual audience to The High Republic era with potential flashbacks, holocrons, etc. of that era and their conflict with the Drengir
  4. The drengir issue has been resolved in the publishing initiative so they wouldn’t be ruining any previously planned storylines
  5. Drengir and lost/stranded padawans would certainly give off the “stranger things in space” vibe.

Again, this was just for fun. I doubt it actually happens. The Drengir part in particular seems like a stretch as they are a little out there.
