When does Phase 2 of High Republic begin? I didn’t see it available for preorder yet.

Phase 2 listed with an FOC date in September and an estimated October 2022 release date for High Republic #1 Phase 2.

Just confirmed to UK retailers that the Dark Horse Star Wars comics won’t be available in the UK, due to “licensing issues”. Which means that if they want them they will need to order from the US and ship them over, which I would assume most won’t want to deal with. Not sure what that means, if anything, except some frustration for UK collectors.

If enough UK people are interested to make the shipping worth it I can buy extras and ship them over in bulk to someone. Id do it at cost.

This is similar to what happened previously with IDW licensing for Star Wars in the UK and Australia.
You can however pre-order the Star Wars Dark Horse books at Forbidden Planet UK. Hope that helps.

I know nothing at all about the deal or their specific license, but having worked on the licensing side for video games it’s very common to have major IPs just licensed for the main region a company does work in. Extra regions are more money/make things more complicated, and unless it’s a huge selling thing or has global appeal it’s not always worth it.

It’s only a matter of time before they use her, the design is just too cool. Hanging on to all my copies, don’t know why anyone would sell it for next to nothing.
