Solicit says the Fermata Cage opens, maybe speculation (or advance knowledge) of who/what might come out? My best guess.
unsure. 616, Unknown, etc. have done one for every issue so that one was expected. This one did come out of no where though. I had the same thoughts initially but if they have inside info I don’t know that they would limit to as low as 500.

I can’t wait for DV3 to explode. Got some 1:25 variants with a handful of cover A and one 9.8 CGC graded slab… I’m so ready to offload, gonna pay for a nice vacation!

I mean you bough it at face or cheaper than todays prices. It’s a 499-599$ book / you think it will run way more once it’s announced one day? Seems like there would be a lot of inventory flooding market too no?

Personally, for the PC, I like cover A better because it features Aphra and has the droids front and center.

One thing about Star Wars cannon that may be important here, Disney appears to have no interest in the live action/cartoons re-telling any stories already told in the comic. Everything has its place in Star Wars cannon and many are closely tied together.
Take, for example, the relationship between Krrsantan and Boba Fett. It was clearly eluded to they have a history, which comes from the comics. Butt they stayed away from elaborating or ret-conning any of it.
It’s going to be challenging introducing Aphra without ret-conning her stories told in the comics, which are 100% cannon. So it’s not like we’ll get a story that re-writes DV#3.
Like Black Krrsantan she’s likely going to just show up without any back story or character building in a show or movie. And everyone (except those of us in the know) will be like who the hell is this chick?
Similarly, with an ongoing Darth Vader comic not sure if a Vader solo tv series or movie is in the cards.
And look at Mandalorian. Rather than Marvel put out a book of original Mando adventures which complicated the tv show, they’re just retelling the show in comic form to capitalize on revenue brought in by comic books.
Bottom line, don’t expect an Aphra siting for a while.

I got both at cover price. I rarely bought ratios for over cover price. Yes, the shop I frequently bought from would put out ratios at cover because they didn’t buy X amount to chase ratio covers, if they qualified, they just treated them like regular books.
