They were created (how?) by Mother and carried by Sith looking character.
The Force is criticized by Mother and called The Thread but it’s actually the same thing. What?
Mae wants to kill the (4) Jedi who showed up and ruined the witch ceremony. Mae mad.
Mae starts a fire, all witches died. What?
Osha lived - trained as a Jedi, leaves, becomes Space Mechanic.
Mae lived - trained or being trained by an unknown Master. Still carries guilt about killing family of witches?
Mae kills two (a Jedi Master and a throwaway Jedi character), Sol lives, hunts Wookie Jedi.
Mae betrays current ally and plans on turning herself in. What just happened?
Worst Star Wars mask in history shows up and has already snuck up on and killed Wookie Jedi.
Worst Star Wars mask dominates Jedi and Episode 4 ends.
Now, I’m not done watching this as there is still some intrigue. Curiosity is the only thing keeping me watching but this feels more like a random, bad Sci-fi show than anything Star Wars.
I’m getting ready for a Scooby Doo ending. The guy with Mae is the Sith character but he is not really him. It is the witch with the horns disguising herself with her powers.
Ok, so Ki-Adi-Mundi is present for this story/aware of this. All of this stuff is taking place 100 years before Episode One as reported. If there is anything at all that smells of Sith whatsoever than a few things are going to need resolved:
Ki-Adi-Mundi has his mind cleared.
Ki-Adi-Mundi has some sort of memory decline
Ki-Adi-Mundi is dirty dog.
Or the writers just don’t care about this established line/canon which is certainly possible as well.
In Episode One…Ki-Adi Mundi specifically gets all riled up and talks about the notion of the Sith being extinct for a millenia when Qui Gon reports to them at the council.
He has no idea there are sith involved yet and not sure if he will. They all still think the master is a former Jedi. This whole thing they are trying to cover up already.
If it is a Sith, and he knows about it, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s part of some cover up. The early High Republic Jedi for some reason didn’t pass down knowledge of the nameless for some reason. Cover up or bad information sharing practices…not sure.
Qimir, who is going to be species-swapped to be Darth Venamis in canon. He’s not the big bad, but he’s trying to overtake the big bad (Darth Tenebrous possibly) in true sith fashion. He wants Mae or Osha as his apprentice and help him do the deed.
Ki-Adi-MundI is in denial. He’s dismissive in episode 4 of the Acolyte and he’s dismissive in Phantom Menace. He just can’t fathom that the Sith could still be around.
What’s likely going to happen is all these Jedi are going to die, or one is going to be left to tell the others the sith have returned, only to be silenced as if word gets out the republic may begin ti distrust the Jedi and turn against them.
We are witnessing the events which will turn the Jedi order from an independent respected faction, to something that become more reliant on the rebublic…and their “holier than thou” demeanor and covered up secrets undermine trust which Palpatine exploits by making his way up through the political ranks.
It all starts here.
As for the mask of the master…I’m not sure he cares about style points…it’s not like he has an entire empires wealth to design and construct a cool vader mask. It looks more like the troopers on Ahsoka where it was constructed from piece parts, welded together with gold or other metals.
Also, even the Sith have some level of intelligence.
Nowhere has it been acknowledged to him or the Jedi that bad guy is a sith. Also, nowhere in canon have we ever known his species lifespan. Most of these people are parroting Star Wars Theory who used to be knowledgeable about Star Wars stuff but fell off hard and really has no idea what he’s talking about anymore. Been like that for a while.
Best part about Star Wars is that there is so much to consume that you can pick and choose what you want. Some only want Skywalker Saga, a lot of younger fans only care about the prequel era. I do not like the sequel era, so I ignore it unless there’s something compelling.
Once again, this show is all f$&&ed up. The whole premise of the core group of Jedi not wanting to tell anyone what is going on makes no sense. Might as well erase thousands of years of galactic history and deny anything ever happened with Sith or other Jedi. Wow. Out of thousands of Jedi, if one went bad I highly doubt the Republic or whatever the government is at this time, would give two $h!ts. Big deal. Take care of it. Especially if they are not blowing up cities or planets. Not, oh no, this undermines the entire Jedi order and everything about it. Just stupid writing. It’s like no one in the entire galaxy has ever been murdered. Better cover it up.
My favourite part in the last episode is the Star Trek landing party homage. 4 main(ish) characters and 6 randos. Sorry 6 random Jedi, but your all dead.
Eh. The high council was pretty stuffy during this time and would sure as heck ran to the Republic with the findings. Would likely lead to greater oversight of the Jedi and all that.
The republic and Jedi failed to see the rise and destruction caused by the Path of the Open Hand and the Nihil. A lot of people blamed the Jedi for the Battle of Jedha. I don’t think anybody’s going to let the Jedi get a pass on something like this.
Either way, I’m enjoying it, but don’t fault others for not unless they are hate watching or hoping to feed their negative opinions on something. That’s just unhealthy.
