or disney knew this shit was going to be so bad they were not allowed to use him
Disney has the money to cram this crap down the fandomās throats. They donāt care if it is good, bad, or if it gets complete dragged through . ~150 million paid accounts on D+ @ ~$8/mo more than pays for the cost of making the show. Plus, they probably receive a ton of tax breaks to film in certain areas.
Disney+ is estimated to bring in just shy of $1B alone. That doesnāt include merch, theme parks, theatre revenue, etc.
Shows bring in so much money locally where they film so yeah, they get tax breaks and other incentives but it really helps the local economies when they come to town to shoot shows and movies, across the board, not just Disney. It does more good than bad with the money breaks they get cause the jobs it creates along with money being spent locally goes a very long wayā¦
Iām glad that money gets spent locally, however if any entity doesnāt require tax breaks itās billion dollar corporations. What if citizens got the tax breaks instead or also? I feel like the city and state are passing on the burden to the regular people. Itās US that get our taxes raised, not themā¦ or at least not as much due to the breaks.
Disney has the leverage cause they know it generates revenue for the city/area. Itās similar to when sports teams get public money for stadiums. Raiders moved to Vegas cause they funded a lot of the stadium
Yeah but what break did I get from the Raiders? LV, Clark County, and NV used my damn tax money and IF I want to go see my Packers at Allegiant (thatās once every 8 yearsā¦) I still have to pay out the .
Itās a classic grift. Iāll gladly pay you on Tuesday for a today. Make the little people pay for the road to get paved and for the Mercedes so that the elites can go cruising for more money.
Furthermore Disney likes to complain about GA, FL, etc but theyāll sure as hell take the tax breaks. Hypocrisy at its finest.
Business leverage is just the way of the world. Itās always the little people who get screwed
Be the change you want to see in the world. I personally am tired of getting screwed!
Unfortunately, the media makes the most money keeping us divided so that the change you speak of will never happen
SOCIAL media keeps us divided. Legacy media is less trusted than congress at I believe sub 20% numbers according to polls. I donāt think CNN or Fox carries much weight any longer.
For instance, I guarantee that more people know about the Hawk Tua broad than they do about what is going on in their kids schools.
The division started before social media even existed. Social media is more like the threshold of hell and definitely helps to keep us divided
You gotta spit on that thang (also very involved with both kidsā schools)
I admit I donāt know as much as I should about my kids school. But I had to look up this Hawk Tuaā¦
oh myā¦.
I might actually be mad at this show if that is all we get from Kelnacca, but I donāt see how he survived a lightsaber to the chest. The first wookie Jedi in live action and he gets killed off screen! Wtf.
The previews have scenes of him fighting Torbin. Probably will take place in another flashback episode from the Jedi POV and one of them is likely possessed.
There are a lot of flashback scenes remaining. Not just from the previews, but itās known that parts of this story will be told from different points of viewā¦
So Iām expecting at least Maeās version of the tragedyā¦it would not surprise me if the next episode is entirely a flashback like episode 3.
Maybe weāll also get Solās point of view.
Itās knowing these types of episodes are likely coming that Iām still giving it a chance and the benefit it might all come together in the end.
Disney would rather hire people who know nothing about Star Wars to push agendas than respect the franchise and hire people who know the stories and loreā¦
smh
Iām not saying youāre wrong, but whatās funny is that a lot of the people review bombing this show know nothing (or forgot a whole lot) about Star Wars stories and lore. Many of them are posting YouTube reviews to push agendas rather than raising legitimate issues like set design (which I am not a fan of at all), camera angles/cut scenes (not a fan), or dialogue (itās passable).
Yeah, I saw this a while ago and not sure why itās a huge deal. Iām sure if we asked Harrison Ford anything about Star Wars, heād probably tell us to go to hell, but then after that, heād get a whole lot wrong. He probably has no idea who Anakin Skywalker is.
