Dark Knights Metal #3 Mattina Virgin exclusive is what I remember kicking this craziness into high gear. Before that no one really seemed to care much about store incentives…that series made them very popular.

It’s 3,000 but @RipCityGamer has made it clear that 2,500 are being sold for shorts, damages, in-store sales.
