I like that shadow cover and Mayhew is very talented, but I’d be frustrated if I was buying his exclusives. If you intend to do another version each time, it’d be more customer-friendly to make it available upfront so people can judge the art, the print runs, and not have to pay for shipping yet another time. I guess he doesn’t want the risk unless/until the first batch sells out?

Tbh, I don’t see a huge similarity in the Hans and Mahew covers, respectively.
I honestly just think it’s each artists rendition of the symbiote and a host in mid transition. I honestly don’t think that is an original concept on Hans’ part. M2c.

I love how that other Insta-dude told you that you must be new to the hobby. As if having experience with this type of small variation in store exclusives some how makes it acceptable.
The newsflash is: Those of us who have been collecting comics for decades remember a time when variants didn’t even exist. Buying an artist’s third premium costed variant of the same issue is NOT a necessary part of the hobby.

Are you guys tired of High Republic Variants yet?
This Italian Variant by Gabrielle Dell’Otto from Panini Comics releases April 19, 2021 and is only available outside the United States. I assume for Marvel licensing contract reasons. If there are any European readers here who can set up some sort of re-shipping arrangement, that would be amazing. I’d take you up on that.
