I paid for the return shipping, so they were not out of money. I was the one out of money as I paid for shipping back and forth.

I sure hope you did…but I don’t know why it has taken you 9 hours to respond to this.

Seems like an overly excessive time period to respond and reflect as simply as you have…especially when you are a mod.

I don’t have a dog in this fight, but one of the wonderful things on this board is that we take you at your word. If that is your word, then I wholly support and applaud your actions.

Here are my “older books”…

I bought CGC, and took them to a con for signing. I watched CBCS crack the slab, i took them over to the tables for signing…watched the whole time…did not witness anything that could have been damage that I could see upon handing them over to CBCS before I left. Then just to make sure i got maximum grade I had them pressed by CBCS prior to grading.

Below are the results. Both dropped in grade. Batman 227 by 2.0.

Do I mind? No. I got them with ebay 15% off coupons and they’re for the PC anyways. They are also two of the nicest looking books in these grades you’ll likely ever see…and no Newton rings. :+1::+1::+1:

I wasn’t aware that being a MOD meant not being to do anything except MOD. Go do your thing and don’t worry about missing out on someone’s pending argument.

I ended up picking up a few more cover A and one B to go with what I pre-ordered. I also think 2nd printing will do well, as most people will miss this being so close to FOC and with Christmas right around the corner.

I’m torn because I hate when people want to return cgc graded books too. But I also think dude just wanted to argue. :frowning: I do accept any return graciously however. And if I have a replacement available I will send pictures of it and if they want it I’ll send it to them and pay return shipping. Because I’m not going to let $10 ruin my day.

I feel like anytime the 2nd print order date is due before the issue comes out it has a chance of being under ordered as well. Also has a new cover which might help its long term value.

Yeah, I’m not that kind of Mod, sorry.

I was asked to be another set of eyes for @agentpoyo and @Anthony as they cannot or do not always keep up with all the traffic here given the exponential rise in activity. But generally my thing is actually active participation in discussions. Mod is secondary. I don’t get any fringe benefits or compensation.
