Touche, @drunkwooky.
You mean no exxxclusive-super-dee-duper-triple-double-secret-mods-only TFAW variant links?
I saw that. Most places have sold outâŠexcept TFAW which is limiting 1 per at below cover along with B and C covers.
Limit 1 for each cover.
Ha! If I did I would be ordering more High Republic, apparentlyâŠ
Golden Apple now has the Hans cover at $20 (cache said $15) and, strangely, the 1:10 Blanche at $15.
Anyone else feel like theres going to be a big first or 2 in the adventures book no one is talking about⊠and surely is under ordered?
Not always. Just 80% or so of the time. My sense of humor is pretty tacky sometimesâŠ
Probably, there are so many star wars shows coming out, they are going to have so many new characters for all the different time periods that they take place.
People paying above cover, before the book comes out, are stupid. There will be a TON of copies available, on Ebay, webstores, and at your LCS.
I can only speak of my sales of course but my experience with CGC, CBCS and PGX is that there is no difference in price if you are willing to wait. PGX especially may take longer to sell than the other two companies but there will be a buyer at CGC market price for PGX slabs. I have found little to no difference in pricing for CGC or CBCS and I have zero problem buying PGX slabs. Everyone can continue to discredit PGX because it just gets me better prices lol
Yeah, probably something like the Wookiee padawan.
Welcome to my world of sadnessâŠ
And not complaining on how many times you missed outâŠ
The only people I know who are, âDown,â with PGX are you and Alana. You guys should make a fun club. Seeing you both say it isnât that bad makes me consider even trying it sometime maybe. MAYBE.
Those clowns are also selling ASM #55 Cover A for $20, lol.
Trash tactics.
Depends on the LCS, really. We ordered pretty heavily for our Oregon stores knowing thereâs a big Star Wars crowd here. Ordered higher than most other recent Star Wars series initial orders. But the amount of people asking us to put a copy in their box, or signing up for a box for this, is quickly reducing the big amount we got for the wall.
I wouldnât be surprised if due to the resurgence in Star Wars popularity right now a lot of LCS stores end up running out before on sale date just filling in box requests or customers asking ahead of time. Not all of them will, but given the time of year, how long it was between FOC and on sale, and the fact that since FOC weâve had things like the Disney investor call show how much new Star Wars stuff is coming out blew this up after the orders were in.
But time is money. If a PGX sits for a month, thatâs a month of revenue not reinvested in another product during that time. If products that could moved quicker during that period would make a profit, you have an opportunity cost and lost revenue.
