Can’t remember about firsts in #12, but it was a pretty heavy issue for an all-ages book.

As for High republic specs, I would include HRA 1 with all the first and honestly a great story behind it. The 1:10 is a great cover as well with Yoda.
HR 10 is one many are forgetting to mention. It has the first app of Lourna Dee. She is one of Ro’s Tempest runners. Her character is fascinating to me. She is also on the 1:10 cover for HR 1.
HRA 2 is going to be a great one down the road. I can see many people really getting behind Ro and his Nihil like so many now enjoy the sith. I am only half way through the first book Light of the Jedi, and he is my favorite character so far. He will be amazing on the big or small screen. That being said the limited series Eye of the Storm could be a decent gamble with his father in it. I would guess he and his mother will be a big part of the next chapter from Marvel/Disney.

Wonder if HRA 13 was supposed to be released before Trail of Shadows #5. Qort and Zint appear to meet for the first time in HRA 13, but there they are together with Buckets of Blood.

I think chronologically it makes sense that Trail of Shadows 5 should be read after HRA13. HRA13 ends optimistically and Starlight Beacon is still intact. Starlight Beacon has exploded in Trail of Shadows 5.

I’d still say #13 is Zint’s first appearance. If people are going to say HR 15 is the first appearance of the Leveler, then Zint’s first appearance is definitely HRA #13
So what I’m getting is…just buy every damn issue you see if it’s cheap.

100% same experience. There’s like 3 shops on there that I have high success with who don’t upcharge the hot books. Some cancel me like everytime to where I stopped trying with those particular stores. Most have inventory issues. I’ve noticed the one store from Vegas has been listing their ratios at $999 bucks now on Tuesdays and only changing it to normal upcharge price mid wednesday, assuming so people in store can get first dibs.
But yeah they all seemed to have changed to 1 per person, whereas some were 2 per person for awhile, and for some reason 1st class shipping doesn’t seem to work anymore. So if they don’t offer media mail, its gonna be $9-12. Not worth it unless you can stack like 4-5 books, which you generally can’t, lol.
I agreee on Eye of the storm. I pre-ordered some 9.8 slabs of #1A, #1 1:25, and #2A. Kind of an impulse buy but they were reasonable. Should work out.

Unlikely, given phase two is to occur 150 years before phase one. Maybe phase three, if it’s between the two.
