I was waffling…didn’t know if there was a limit…didn’t know what else was being offered…grabbed 3 HRA13’s as a safe bet.
I thought I had read that the next phase was going to be more about what lead up to all of this and the rise of the Nihil. I could be wrong though. I don’t want to spoil Nihil information, but a story in regards to how Ro’s father and grandmother came into the ability for hyperspace jumping would be amazing. Also more with why his family hating the jedi would also fuel more source material for the current arc we are in.
Thank you!!
You’re right. It’s just that, at 150 years before, it’s hard for Ro’s father to be part of that phase. Maybe the grandmother, but even that’s a stretch.
Oh, and the story of how they came into the hyperspace jumping ability is told in the first HR novel, IIRC.
As far as I know though they don’t explain how they acquired Mari San Tekka though. I do think we will get the reason why Ro and his ancestors/original clan despised the Jedi though P2. I think that is a lock. Will likely get more Darth Krall and Nightmare Conjunction history as well. And the initial conflict between the Torgruta and new republic that is references so heavily in The Rising Storm would make sense as well.
Zint cameo in Trail 5, first full appearance in SWHRA 13
But Marchion Ro and is family are not human, are they? Looks like he’s Evereni, and as far as I know he could live longer than humans… Unless it has been stated otherwise somewhere?
Well, that would change things, yup. Wooky? Is he Evereni?
Yes. A near-human species.
He’s a child when we meet him in Eye of the Storm and he ages to close to current age during the first issue. Pretty safe to say he won’t be part of Phase two and judging by how quickly he aged in Eye of the Storm, I’d say he ages like humans in the SW universe.
Yeah, nothing so far that would indicate Evereni age any slower.
Yeah, and we can probably use Mari San Tekka as a baseline since she’s a human and she’s as such.
Speaking of aging slower, I like Deva Lompop. She shows up in the High Republic era as well as the Imperial Era. Pretty cool character design and seems like an interesting character.
Makes her first appearance in Star Wars: War of the Bounty Hunters - Jabba the Hutt and is on 3 of the covers.
Which one has the cover appearance?
Another book I have an unhealthy amount of
It’s funny. The book is called Jabba the Hutt, but it is pretty much all about her.
When you say an unhealthy amount, how many are you holding?
I always like to figure out if my unhealthy amounts are normal or way out of whack!
Somewhere between 50-100. I have everything inventoried but I haven’t sorted the sheet and counted in a while. I stopped mentally keeping track after I had 50.
Not as crazy as some probably have, but combined with everything else and books I went bigger on it starts to add up with my home office being storage.
I still buy a copy at the two LCS that have them in stock each week.
Nice! And here I was, thinking I had a lot of these!
