Potential of new spec
.
The older SW spec books have had time to grow in value over time, like Kylo #3 as mentioned

HRA #2 A Ivan be found for cover still. Say Ro gets onscreen and even plays a significant role in the story, this seems plausible soon when the book doesn’t have the time to organically grow in value

So what’s the potential of these new books, in live action that might be around the corner?

HRA 2 has had about a year to appreciate and it is starting. It’s all organic at the moment and will increase as the character develops in future projects (comics, books, shows). I view him as a more barbaric Thrawn but equally captivating from what we know of him.

Point me to a cover price HRA 2 and I will buy as many as I am allowed.

Issue #2 was increasing in price before the rumors. It started to see an uptick when Eye of the Storm was announced. Issue #1, which could have been ordered from Diamond until recently, is the book being driven up by the rumors.

I would say its a combination of both
 Solo mini + tv show spec

But since we live in a spec-crazy time, this is not organic.

Just got shipping notice on my IDW Online HRA 12’s and 13’s. – at least they’re not dragging their feet. Hope it’s shipped decently.

I might regret it later, but I refused to pay $20 shipping for books that can be shipped for max $8.25 priority.

Just remember, shipping charges include the shipping cost, plus packaging and labor. Just because you can pay $8.25 for shipping does not mean that is the retailers cost to ship your item.

You may. It was higher than it should have been and possibly because their combined shipping system wasn’t working properly, but it wasn’t a hill I was going to die on.

I got my shipping notification too but I paid $11.37 for shipping for one copy each of #12 and #13.

Did some have to pay more?

They wanted $15 and some change for 2 books for me I ordered one copy and it was $7 shipping.

I didn’t order any because of the shipping
I did order the Annual though, but had a feeling it was gonna be a good one to have :slight_smile:
