I have not bought any of the new books coming out. I had the Boss Logic variant in my cart for a bit because it’s sweet but dropped it anyway. No real interest in the books

It does say RI, and IDW rarely has incentives over 1:10, right? At least when it comes to their SW books.
Ha. Turns out I have one of these in my pre-orders for TFAW. Forgot. At least, I have the 1:10, but the cover art isn’t updated yet. Assuming it’s this.
Venom is a decent book, but who is out there buying all of these Venom store variants? Its ridiculous the number of them every month.

Star Wars High Republic 2nd print graded for $19.77 at dynamic forces. They don’t guarantee a grade so not sure what you get but for under $20 seems like a deal.

I ordered one and it looks like it is common for them to grade books for under $20.
Spiderman 58 and Aliens #1 is also under $20 buck. Has anyone ordered cgc books from dynamic .shipping was $11 bucks.
Hmm so $31 shipped, might not be a bad purchase. Though I’m sure these will be all of the books that come back and are not 9.8, to clear out stock. Still though.
It’s just enough to cover their costs and give a very small profit on something sent in to be graded. So my guess is it’s their way of clearing out all the ones that don’t get a 9.8.

I’ve never ordered cgc books from DF, but have ordered their exclusives for years. I’ve never had any issues and they’ve been in the game for decades.
They’re 100% legit and have been aroung for a long time. You may wait a long time until you get your order from them, but they can be trusted.

I’m a big fan of the CGC deals, but only if they are 9.6+ guaranteed. Otherwise, I don’t see the point in getting it graded. They had HAHA #1 for $31 shipped CGC 9.6+ that I scooped up recently. It might take 6 months to get your order, but they have been great to me.
Keep in mind that Hot Shot comics does this, too, but they (in most cases) guarantee a 9.8. They are $40 + shipping, but if you buy 3, you get free shipping. I just received an order from them.
You’ll be well into retirement by the time they arrive in some cases…

Hello, I am a new/old member (I’ve been away since the G+ days), but I have been a lurker more recently and decided to sign back up so that I can join in the conversations occasionally.
At the moment I have a question/situation and I wonder if TFAW-Brendon might be able to shed some light. Also wondering if anyone else is having the same issue?
I pre-ordered SWHR #1 Hans (4 copies) on the day of the order cut off (12/7/20).
I received a confirmation of the order a few days later (4 copies as ordered). A few days ago I was on the site and noticed that I had been allocated to only 1 copy.
I called and spoke to customer service and they said TFAW must not have gotten my numbers in on time? I offered proof via a screen shot and the confirming email, but all
they said was there is nothing they can do for me. I just think it’s crappy that they won’t honor my FOC order, but they still have the book listed on the site for sale.
TFAW-Brendon… can you lend a hand? I’d really appreciate it!

Shoot me a DM with your screenshots. If if let you place a pre order for 4 copies, there’s no reason it should have changed it to 1 after the fact. When things are limited it’s only going forward, previous orders aren’t changed. And there’s no reason anything should be allocated until we have more orders than inventory we received in sell-able condition, and there has been no inventory received for this yet since it’s still not out.
You also should get a confirmation email of your pre-order that evening or next evening at 5PM pacific, not a few days later.
