Thanks Alana, wanted to grab some more Hans variant though. But that updated Sway artwork is so much better than that preview of the 1:25, looks great now.

The Hans sold out first within 15 mins

That Hans variant is going to be the winner of the regular covers.

Yyyyyyyyyyuuuup.

Wait a minute… you’re not Dave from Storage Wars are you?

My friendly local comic shop owner took a gander at his high Republic invoice today and said to me ā€œso, one of each!?ā€ I happily replied ā€œyup! Got that Dodson Star Wars 10?ā€ He said ā€œyup.ā€

All cover price. I love my spot.

That’s awesome! My LCS guy is pretty great too, but he doesn’t seem to pay attention to comic news and just orders whatever seems good three months out (big 2 only though unless a bunch of people request something—he keeps asking me if I’ve got all my Department of Truths; he hadn’t ordered any until I pinged him initially). So I can get something, it just takes a bit of planning.

Yeah, there’s definitely a cap on variants available to me as he never orders specifically to obtain a 1:50/1:100 etc. just whatever is already coming due to normal demand.

He’s decent on indie publishers, but he just doesn’t have time to follow micros and get those in.

Nnnnnnnnnnope!

But I kinda look like him…maybe not as short.

That show was good for about 5 episodes…then you realized it’s basically the same thing over and over and I believe they planted stuff in some of the units to incentive the bidders and make the show more interesting than it really was.

I read about that allegation too. Multiple people said that so I’d believe it. It can’t be that almost every storage unit is a huge money-maker, after all.

I don’t think the bidders knew which ones had plants nor what was planted…but obviously that undermined the authenticity of the shows concept.

It was fun to watch for a while, but it was definitely staged.

Midtown has been up with next weeks items for about 10 minutes. Star Wars is 1 per customer.

Told myself I’d never order from Midtown again but here I am.

Picked up extra copies of each standard cover.

I’m sure they’ll make me regret it, lol.
