Star Wars: The High Republic

I guess this means that Marvel did not overprint enough to meet demand, which is a good problem to have for stores and speculators that ordered big. :money_mouth_face:

Nasty rumors too… so nasty!

Yeah, it’s called ā€œlet’s create more demandā€ when there’s already a 2nd printing for order… it’s a ploy likely to create… chaos… see meme above.

So does anyone know what time midtown posts up next week’s books?

It’s anywhere between 11am (CST) and 5pm (CST) I’ve seen them get posted or updated. Basically if you have the day off, just keep refreshing…

Lately been around 2-3pm. I’m home all day and that’s usually when I notice the switch.

I pretty much stopped ordering from Midtown so I stopped caring about checking out Wednesdays books until a bit later in the day or week…

I don’t even know what comes out on weds anymore I order so far in advance at tfaw

@Alana same. My preorders are up thru Feb.
@agentpoyo I check for the sold out books. To see if theres something I need sooner to flip that’s ā€œin demandā€ I notice when midtown sells out most shops do too or it creates a buzz about a book and u know the rest. 8/10 I usually have the book preordered so I’m good. But unknowncomics takes forever and Tfaw is quicker but if I grab a couple copies of a book else where its shipped before either and up for sale it goes.

I use to do the same but most of the books I want I’ve already got on pre-order. I’m in the mood now of, if I missed it… oh well… on to the next one. I can’t be bothered waiting weeks for a book that’s selling well now to cool off 2 or 3 weeks later when it arrives and then I’m stuck with it and can’t sell it for decent profit.

Yeah me too, I missed a quite a few good ones to pre-order over the years, such as Thor 5 when it reached its heights. (I ordered like 20 Thor 4’s but forgot to order Thor 5). But the profit you make on the ones you pre-order ahead of time, taking in consideration the discount you receive, is well worth it when you are right about a comic becoming popular. I’m betting big on The Next Batman #1.

It used to be 1pm.

The last year it’s been more like 3pm to 4pm.

One week it was 5pm.

Yup still hasn’t updated as of 3:06pm

Takes time to browse eBay to determine how much they’re gonna jack the price up to…

Still not posted, man, they really taking their time today.

Let’s predict what Midtown does, then. My guess: limit 1 each of the open order covers, and the incentives will be 3x ratio.

Agreed with limit 1 of each regular covers. I say the 1:25 will be $75, the 1:10 will be $35.

Edit: just realized these numbers were exactly what you said lmao

That seems to be their going rates for hot incentives and full price, limit 1 each of the open order covers.

5:20 pm still not updated, they’re holding these Star wars comics hostage at this point

power outage, not being upped till late tonight or tomorrow
