We’ll probably put more Monarch up next week. We actually had it up but it sold out super quick since we still have a lot of players who checked with us to find it haha. We have the booster boxes and also the blitz decks (which are like the new hero pack decks I believe). Never even got a chance to add descriptions or anything to them they sold out so fast…
I need to break out my cards and play again. Maybe get my kid who knows how to read now to try it.
@stw0201 Originally when it came out it was distributed by the creators themselves from New Zealand. They were FedExing orders from New Zealand via like 2 day shipping for prizes and stuff. Eventually it got picked up by Alliance and PHD, but I think the new set (as of now) is only being distributed through PHD. The creators are still very involved with retail, though, and were just about to set up all of these huge events and in-store promotions and stuff RIGHT when the pandemic hit. So hopefully this year they can roll a bunch of that out.
Thanks a lot! I will keep checking TFAW next week. That’s awesome that you were dealing with the creators. This game has had a very real and organic growth.
Apologies for going off the Star Wars topic. I will say that I ordered some High Republic from Midtown when available on a Wednesday (before release). Order still hasn’t shipped. Neither has my DCBS order. TFAW order in process. And the MCS order shipped. I hear the Hans cover looks great in person.
Register with your town under “doing business as” , us your SS as your Tax ID. Register with the state for taxes. They will send you a Sales licensee. The cost for me in Ma was $50 ? and ablut 2 hours time.
Two options for this next part. If you have some knowlege (or someone that does) you set up a website with hosting using wordpress or open cart. average cost is around 5-10$ a month. If you want something less hands on and just drag and drop, use Shopify.
Now you meet all the requirements for Diamond.
Discount is 60% the first 3-5 months. after that they average your purchases and drop you down to an appropriate discount. If you order a medium amount (say $1000-2000 range retail cost) , your discount will be set around 45%.
Edit* Just want to add, this is coming from a Speculator turned Retailer. When I first started it was based purely on speculating and flipping. Obviously times have changed, but you get my drift … also Diamond gives you some crazy discounts on Trades and stuff …
Dont forget Retailer only emails on things for sale, advanve pdfs on some titles per publisher … the wealth of knowledge is incredible, especially for a speculator.
Plus, if the world ever opens up again, you can get comic con and diamond retailer summit tickets
If you do become a Diamond Retailer, do yourself a favor and explore their site heavily. It is not by any means modern or well designed, but there are some hidden gems if you dig hard enough.
This is great info. I actually created a business last March, and just started flipping a few comics here and there, learning about the industry. I’ve had a transportation business, a home flipping business, and currently run a heavy equipment training company… but always have dreamed of having a shop on the side.
I’m so glad you all shared this information as I’ve been a bit hesitant about submitting my application. I’m currently stocking my inventory for my online website (very small and basic, with very very very few items), just to get it going. This is just a hobby of mine, and I find it really fun…and have 4 boys who I am also showing the ins and outs of ebay and what their collectibles are worth, and why you should take care of them. In the end though, its all about having fun.
side note… I have never heard of this TCG Flesh and Blood, and now I MUST play it! if someone gets their hands on some boosters / cases / boxes / etc I would be very grateful to purchase some from you.
Unfortunately we have to delay some of the orders from shipping as we had to get a portion of the order reprinted.
Between the damage/color rub and then straight up NOT OUR LOGO on the back of the book, we could not send these out to our customers and feel good about it. Take a minute, swipe left and check out what I am talking about here. This was not a minor spot or something we could justify and I want folks to know that Marvel IMMEDIATELY RESPONDED to our email offering a solution. So thank you Marvel!
I know this can be frustrating, at the end of the day we would not accept the condition of these books if we bought them from a site, much less one touting to be premium.
With that said, we will continue to post updates and keep our customers and the community informed, as I said from day one, this company is about transparency and showing how great an exclusive can be.
If anyone would like to cancel for a full immediate refund, please DM me here or email me through the site : comicbookexclusives.com
To everyone who ordered and supported this project, I want to say thank you, we appreciate you, and because of that, we are taking these extra steps.
Well, eBay also says any order that can’t be fulfilled within 30 days of purchase is against their rules and policies. So yeah, anyone who pre-sales books they know they can’t ship within 30 days is at fault 1000000000000000000000% of the time.
I wonder if they’re going to provide “proof” that all 3k copies are being replaced and if they plan on “destroying” all the new and better copies once they arrive?
