I think those shops who kept the errors and jacked the prices up to astronomical prices really turned people away from them…
I never really got paying more for error. Why pay so much more for what’s essentially a defective product?

I can sort of see the first two because marvel is ok with a portion being damaged comics in larger orders…but if the root cause is determined that a company put schedule as a higher priority than quality/procedures which ensure high quality they should not be used again unless the person who was responsible for that decision was removed. That’s basically a hit to a company’s integrity to bypass such things and overall a bad business model.
That’s my stance as well. I even do the same with coins. I know some pay astronomical values on error coins but to me it’s just a defective product.

I bought an error PS2 back in the day for $800. They did no quality control and forgot to include the disk drive. It never played games, but I was the only person who had one!

You can adjust your settings to have an email sent every time a new article goes up. That way you never miss anything.

I just received an email stating my High Republic #1’s have processed and will be shipping. I’d forgotten that I’d ordered from Midtown as well. That’s when you know you buy to many comics.

I used to do the same, lol. I remember getting 3 Venom 25 graded comics in the mail and didn’t even remember buying them. That is when I was buying things from like 10 to 15 different places. Now I use like 3 or 4 different places.

The comic is still worth the amount that I paid for it, lol. So much for spec, at least for now. Keeping my fingers crossed that Codex returns and stays around for a bit.
