this series sees Boba Fett capture Han Solo while heā€™s frozen in Carbonite between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. But wait, youā€™re thinkingā€¦ that didnā€™t happen in the movies! Thatā€™s right.

What the hell is this guy in about? 1. Boba Fett DID capture Han Solo while frozen in carbonite. 2. The comic isnā€™t claiming that occurred between ESB and ROTJ. 3. Itā€™s not a retcon.

How do you capture someone WHILE they are frozen? Itā€™s not like they are running around free to get away. Heā€™s stuck in a big freakin ice cube!

And in the movies, he wasnā€™t captured by Boba. It was a trap set up by Vader, and Vader gave him to Boba.

So Vader technically captured himā€¦with some help.

I concede that, but this comic (as far as weā€™ve seen) isnā€™t claiming Boba captured Han. It just opens with Han in Bobaā€™s ship. How is that a retcon? Call it Vader capturing Han, Lando capturing Han, Boba capturing Han, no matter what that block of carbonite left Cloud City in the Slave 1.

I get the impression that Boba is gonna lose Han during the initial transit and itā€™s the War of the Bounty Hunters, as everyone wants a piece of the pie but ultimately Boba wins out and delivers the goods to Hutt.

Thatā€™s my impression of this whole War of the Bounty Hunters.
