I ordered about 1 to 4 issues of each variant. I’ve been cutting back on buying and getting more selective in what I am buying these days.

Yeah, forums are designed for actual discussions, not just small quips or replies.
But yes, SIKTC… it’s horrible because it’s Tynion (he lost me years ago, I keep giving him tries but his writing is just awful most of the time)… but then again, the movie Twilight went on to become how many movies and sell how many books and my wife claimed it was the worst writing in the history of mankind (I didn’t believe her until I read one paragraph and was like… nope, nope, nope and my eyes started to bleed from the awfulness)… To each their own I suppose when it comes to liking things.

Going to hit up my LCS in a few hours when it opens and will let my guy know how many to order for me. Still deciding on how many action figure variants I want, it’s between 5-10. I’m getting a copy of the director’s cut for sure.

The majority of the population needs a little simpler story and a little more hand-holding through a narrative. If you write for the lowest common denominator, you might have a hit and you might get critically panned.

Simpler? You can write simpler stories without horrible writing though…

I’ve liked his other work just not this series. I swear there was a series out a few years ago that was identical to this one. The title last name escapes me.
It wasn’t And Then Emily Was Gone. Though it had similarities. I hate that I can’t think of the title. Or maybe I’m losing what’s left of my mind.
I’m extremely hopeful that this image & clue is alluding to a Bounty Hunters exclusive.
E.M Gist is an absolutely incredible painter. Nice, humble fellow to boot.

I like SIKTC a lot. Its not the best title on the shelves but its good.
I responded to E.M’s post about this as he encouraged “Guesses” as to the subject matter. He hasn’t responded to me yet lol.
I’ll keep an eye out and holler if I see anything updated. It it Star Wars/Fett related, I really hope it’s something I can get ahold of. Huge fan of his.

So in regards about E.M Gist and his exclusive hint as I posted above.
His response to my guess of “boba fett” was a
“mayyybeeeeee” whereas all other guesses got a flat out “nope”
I’m taking that as a positive sign lol.
I’ve never bought from the IG comic store? Good? Bad? I’m all aboard to try for this one though.

I never have either. Heard they package and ship well. Timely fashion too. And I assumed Boba because of the tattered cape. And all the clues in the caption.

I’m going to continue my advocacy of the devil here and say McNiven’s Black Armor variant, while maybe not very clever, is not lazy. It appears he completely re-did the original cover, line-by-line, changing the armor to black as he went.

Nailed it bro. Wasnt until I looked closer that you can see it’s different. The shading applies to a dark armored suit.
