Seems like it’s mostly originals and their documentaries. She just doesn’t get into anything on Disney+ so far and has no desire to watch most shows on Hulu as well.
I’m in the category of, I don’t really care. I watched and enjoyed Mandalorian. The only show on Netflix I binge watch is Ozarks… other than that, I just don’t watch that much TV myself. If the wife and kids didn’t live with me, I probably wouldn’t even subscribe to any of them to be honest.
I think what has changed the reach of television has been the pandemic. I do not think that the Disney investor day would have had so much TV content, had there not been a pandemic. All of the watching of shows and episodes was brought to you by Covid-19, and the interest in more and more content.
I have Disney, Netflix and Amazon Prime. I usually watch it a few days a week for a few hours. My girlfriend does watch them each day. Up to 5 hours a day. I will binge watch every once in a while. I am usually busy working, do things related to all my hobbies, and once in a while sleep. I like to hunt for things when the weather is nice. When I finally retire I will see what I need and actually spend me time watching.
My family have gotten their monies worth through Netflix, disney+, hulu (free with my spotify), and hbo max (free with my cell plan). My wife has watched Netflix more than anyone else in the house though.
