So I didn’t post it, because I just plum forgot but this year for Christmas I kicked myself up 2 copies of Strange Academy 1: Cover A 1st printing and a CGC 9.6 JSC variant.

This is pleasant news!

yep, campea doesnt tend to report rumors unless he’s heard stuff behind the scenes, so i think SA1 is about to spike up hard

I keep having sales of the back lot of books that I have had listed. Sold a bunch of Spider-Woman that have been sitting. Sold a bunch of variants that have been sitting. I haven’t hit the Jeff books or the Rivals covers but have been doing ok lately. Would love for comics to be back!

I’ve been selling dollar bin finds for $10-$15. That’s like the equivalent of selling a Rivals book for $60-$90…i’m like why even worry about rivals? Go Go Dollar Bin Finds!!

Normally I don’t even bother with sales below $15, but a $10 flip on a $1 investment is like free money…

I don’t mind cheaper sales because by the end of the week they all add up. Sold a Seasons 1 One per store for $10 plus shipping the other day. They go for $10-12. But I got it for free. So complete win. Sold two flops variants of Rogues Gallery #1 for $20 each plus shipping. Sold a Resident Evil #1 comic I paid a $1 for for $10. Again. Smaller sales mixed in with other sales, takes me no more energy to pack up. Sold some other things as well, and sold a couple of books on Mercari. All in all more than paid for my next weeks books so I am happy.

When I setup at small conventions - agreed. Those $1 or $2 finds that go for $10 is a super duper win.
It’s a face to face cash transaction with 0 additional effort on my part for the purchase. I’m sitting there behind the table for that reason

However, I do not like $10 sales online for $1 book. That’s just me.
My time and effort are too valuable for a net $7 - $8 of listing, questions from sellers, potential returns, preparing the packaging, P. office, etc…
10 - 15 minutes of my time + the aggravation of needing to do that instead of something I want to do is not worth $7.

Again - that just me.

 …And your’re not profiting $7, 8, 9 etc online. The IRS man cometh and the IRS man taketh…

I shoot for profits of $40+.
