The Book of Boba Fett Specs

I only stick to those that say “screen used”.

Screen used by whom? That’s the big issue with their COA.

From the screen in the shower drain, in the actor’s dressing room.

If you get he card autographed by the actor, I can see this being worth $8.

Otherwise no thanks.

I have some XFL jersey cards.

Think you are concerned about those that are marked as “sourced relic” which is different. These are the same material used to produced those actually used for the screen. I will stay away from those.

I have that too!

This is what I’m talking about. It isn’t described as sourced, just states that it is a swatch from the same material. Means they could have gone to JoAnns Fabric and bought a roll of whatever fabric they needed.

This swatch comes from Masterworks which I believe is Topps’ highest-end Star Wars product and costs around $200-400/box. The box contain ONE PACK.

Compare this to the sports card relics of the late 90s and early 2000s that specifically stated who wore the piece of uniform and in what season / game, and the result of the game.

The trading card companies changed their lingo for a specific reason: Profit. They can fake a relic but market it as real and get away with it. Always keep in mind that trading card companies are essentially mini casinos.

Yup. Stay away from those. This is one of the more recent ones that says screen-used that looks more promising.

I can get a Emilia Clarke signature on a comic for $25

The market is clearly willing to pay a huge premium for her signature on the “right” piece. My observations is that “right” piece would involve her image in a key role (Daenerys or Qi’ra) in the right pose and the signature should be certified as witnessed by a trusted third party.

Anyone get a box of these Topps cards? I saw them in Walmart for $20, so I gave them as a gift idea. It’s a box of 10 packs, total of 60 cards.

It said each box came with a Commemorative Patch card. So I knew that was included. But was not expecting all the other “Chase” cards. I started noticing duplicates as in sorted them, then noticed the different color borders on some and one was numbered.

Then I read the fine print on the side of the box.

Thought I would share in case anyone was interested. You can find them mixed in with the Pokémon card and such.

You can even send away for a free card. What I found really odd was that Canadian requests had to solve a math “skill test” in order to get their free card.

That’s pretty funny! Why in the world a math problem? lol

The math test is on lottery items

But only Canadians need to pass the test.

American two dumb. Them no we not pass stoopid number test.

Probably has to do with Canadian or provincial laws about giveaways?
