Good thing about MCS preorders… you can add newly released books to your preorders to save on shipping.
That’s what I’ve been trying to do, but a lot of books I want to pre-order come in the week of FOC, and they don’t list them.
It’s like if it wasn’t in the monthly previews catalog upon its release, they don’t offer it.
A lot of the Energon Universe Image reprints fall under that category. A lot online shops are the same way.
I haven’t had any issues adding FOC books from their preorder page. Sometimes you have to go into the month prior (instead of the most current preorder month), but I’ve always found the FOC books I’ve wanted. Even short noticed 2nd prints get listed.

I preordered books as far back as March and they shipped me my books in September. All I paid was $5 shipping. Nobody can beat MCS.

If you read the change, that statement won’t be true soon.
Don’t say that out loud or even type it. I dont want it to change. It seems that they are changing their prices more quickly than they used to. I mean Ab Batman is at 15.00 for a NM.
I don’t care if they jack up prices on other books. You could get that Batman book for $5 for a while anyway. I want my preorders NM with combined shipping for cheap. The extra ~$2 shipping is still worth it. If they mess with the preorder system, then I’m done with comics all together. I can’t find any other reliable place that also combines shipping over months. The local shops play favorites with preorders and chase dollars so they aren’t an option.

Yea you’re right. Guess I’ve been lucky and they’ve had what I wanted, but clearly not everything goes up on FOC.
Back when I used them, they would pull books off of FoC a couple days early for some reason. I learned to order early and if I missed something I had to rely on TFAW.
Phew. I thought I was going crazy trying to find it. Had to go to TFAW for my GI Joe orders.
