They sold out…

Glad they made money, but not for me.

Me neither. I was shocked when I saw that price :man_facepalming:

The 1:50 Dell’otto variant for Ultimate Wolverine 1 was same price at 25 dollars per copy.

Because ratios suck now

The benefits of using MCS have diminished over the years for me. I used MCS before they charged taxes, before they increased shipping, and before they played the spec game. I completely understand why they had (or want) to do those things, but nonetheless, I’ve been increasingly mulling over taking my preorders elsewhere where they still do not charge taxes, charge only a single shipping charge, and don’t play the spec game. I’m not seeing much point in using MCS anymore for preorders.

I think everyone is required to charge taxes online.

Get yourself a resale ID in your state. Before I had accounts with distributers I used MCS and gave them my resale ID so they didn’t charge me sales tax. Only if you’re actually reselling of course.

Well MCS just cancelled my order on 2 copies of Canto a Place like Home…shenanigans

PRH shorted stores. I think there was some confusion because of it being initially FOC’d, delayed, and FOC’d again. I only got 8/10 of my store account.

But have sold them for 20, 25, 30, and 30 for the ones I’ve put up on Ebay

I can’t speak to anyone else’s situation, but if there’s no nexus in my state, the online retailer does not have to charge sales tax. They can, but don’t have to. Buyers are required to report use tax though.

Yes

I live in the great state of Maryland where they even charge sales tax on your state tax payments.

Sounds like they did for a lot of the orders placed week of release. Because of the shortage they had to fill preorders first. Sucks…

Pet peeve of mine is having to use scalpels to “rescue” books from their packaging. The tape was a bit much on for this one book. Picture is AFTER I had already removed the layers I could safely without a blade…

Granted the rest of the package was pretty robust.

same. That’s why when I ship my stuff I use paint’s tape with the end slightly folded on itself to make it easy to peel
