The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Spec

I agree the first episode was not good and was ready to give up on it. You can still tell a difference between TV and movie, but the last 2 episodes, they have done a better job with storytelling and character development. But certainly understand to each their own.

The thing CW tv does right is they present their shows like a comic book. There’s an underlying main villain or situation for the season but it also has a new or returning villain every episode. It gives it that story in a story comic book feel while also showcasing a lot of characters you would never know. Ties up the current story in one episode while adding to the underlying season threat. Marvel tv has always been about taking a whole season to tell one story about one villain or situation. Like agents of shield, all the Netflix marvel shows, all the Hulu marvel shows, and now all the Disney+ Marvel shows.

So who is showing up in the cameo in Episode 5?

Jennifer Walters

nope

Apparently these were posted on the website (https://www.exploremadripoor.com/) and quickly taken down

It really is a struggle each Friday. Really underwhelmed by this show, and I don’t really know why.

I think this show is very good. All of the shows on the CW are poor. I gave up on those 3 or 4 years ago.

Haven’t seen the newest episode yet but personally I’m enjoying it so far

Damn I wonder what the codes are for Book a Charter and Hightown Nightclub. It’s not the 4 digit codes in that picture, I tried them lol

I really like the show. Not sure what people don’t like about it but hey everyone has their tastes

I’m loving F&WS. This feels far more MCU, and the pacing of this show is so much better than Wanda. That dragged on, teased a lot, but didn’t really deliver.

I honestly wasn’t a big fan of either the Falcon or Winter Soldier characters, but I actually like both now. The Flagsmashers are good and really well cast. I like that the theme of this series is really about the blurred lines between good/bad. Are the flagsmashers the bad guys? Is Walker a good guy? Is Zemo even really a bad guy? I like that they are tackling some racial issues, too. Madripoor is intriguing. And, Sharon Carter is for sure the Power Broker.

Episode 1 was pretty bad IMO. But has been getting better for sure. I think the super soldier serum storyline is interesting. Not the best show. But it is much better than average.

I mean, he bombed the UN to frame Bucky for it some years ago. I’d say Zemo is unquestionably a bad guy.

The great thing about MCU villains is at least you can understand their motivation. It gives them depth and makes them better villains. (Yes Zemo is unquestionably a villain)

Oh yeah, I feel bad for Zemo and see his point. But still, dude bombed the UN.

Thanos is a villain but I can sort of side with his agenda of wiping out half the universe because there’s so much suffering and not enough food but he truly is a bad guy cause if he can use the infinity stones to wipe out half the universe, he could have just used them to make an abundance of food to ease all the suffering…

That’s true and he is but at the same time there are the Flag Smashers bombing buildings with tied up soldiers in it to “speak their language”. A lot of grey areas in this show.

That’s probably the point. Real conflicts aren’t black and white and there aren’t any completely virtuous or good sides to a conflict. Unless of course you’re America in which case you’ve never done anything wrong and you’re the greatest country on Earth regardless.

… not trying to troll or flame or anything, but America is at least willing admit mistakes and make them right. Not all of them, and we aren’t perfect, but I feel like we do more than others.

Shiiiiiit that depends on the mistake and WHO they made it against… America has some dark secrets that they try to hide or forget about. We’re on par with other countries as far as disgusting things being done to the people that live here and also abroad.
