So knowing what’s going to happen if it is Thane, which I believe it could be buy up those Thane books before prices get to high. First appearance is New Avengers 10. Next more prominent is Infinity #4. Correct me if I’m wrong.

So which is it the Null Gauntlet or a grown up Thane? Either way I’ve been meaning to buy up more Thane books anyways and will be adding some to my Pickups and Sales Thread shortly.
I’ll tell you the book to get…Infinity #6 Opena design variant. If we are talking that gauntlet and Thane…imo…that’s the golden ticket.

I can’t find design variants anywhere. I found a, “New Avengers,” #10 for $19 after scouring the web, but the design variants are ghost for any decent price.
I just bought the last one listed on eBay of Infinity #6 Design Variant after another member mentioned it.

Hmm… Odd. I immediately assumed it was Knull/Gorr’s All Black.
If it’s Thane on the spread, then somehow he put on a ton of mass, got super-jacked, taller, and decided to wear armor just like his dad.

I had never come across these covers. I have the series and am a fan but given the designs were 1:50, makes sense I wouldn’t have. I actually bought the #4 (also a great book) because I think Ebony Maw is very cool. When I was looking at those I saw that #6 and was like “whoah”. Having that gauntlet highlighted on that cover is very cool!
@ToddW Glad you got that set! I found #4 cheap on Amazon from a good seller, but bought the #6 on ebay as well (none were on Amazon).

Regardless of whether it’s a future Thane or not most were on my list anyway. It just made me pull the trigger sooner just in case.

The All-Black is now synonymous to the necrosword, which is depicted as being red… because Cates. The gauntlet can’t be the necrosword, it’s at most part of Knull’s symbiotic armor we see in Venom 4 or Silver Surfer Black.
That whole New Avengers run is great and worth the pick up.
