Thor 6 Skroce (Spoiler) Variant

Marvel Fandom database states that it was Thanos, not Thane.

Since when is Marvel Fandom the go-to source of information?

Iā€™m a huge Hickman fan so I agree 110%. Why havenā€™t his other books been optioned? I mean I know some have but Manhattan Projects would be a great HBO Series. I know Amazon has optioned East of West but I havenā€™t heard anything since.

I use it Marvel & DC Fandoms Constantly. Itā€™s not perfect but I love how itā€™s setup and the info is mostly reliable.

Itā€™s a great source of information. Iā€™ve pulled books out of dollar bins because of info exclusively available on there and made some nice profits. There are a lot of runs that other databases and apps donā€™t have info on that the fandom sites do.

Itā€™s not any less reliable than Key Collector or the numerous other apps that gather info from the internet and or submitted to them by end users (since Fandom is contributed by anyone with an account).

I did an edit once when I took out Stan Leeā€™s name as creator of Silver Surfer since it was all Jack Kirby who created him (Stan Lee had nothing to do with his creation except write the story when it was presented to him).

I just read New Avengers 10 and Infinity 4 on Marvel Unlimited. NA10 was published a month before I4. However, it is a really weak first (couple of small panels, non-speaking) appearance. Infinity 4 first part is titled ā€˜Thaneā€™, he is named as Thane, becomes his true self and it is a true origin story which makes this a key Thane book REGARDLESS of what is going to be considered his first ā€˜fullā€™ app

As we know, first appearances are always up for debate, especially when one is weak (last panel, unnamed, unspeaking, only an arm is shown, etc.).

Iā€™m going with Infinity 4 1st print (only print), Infinity 4 Opena Design variant and Infinity 6 Opena Design variant.

Both were FANTASTIC reads and the art outstanding! Wish I read them upon release.

Just my 2 cents.

That is how proper speculation is done, my friend. Kudos to you, Pittsburgh, for actually reading the story and using your expertise in determining where/what is best for you to invest your hard earned cash. Reading the books will always keep you ahead of the flocks that follow those key pusher apps et al. :beers:

Wait, you mean to tell me I can open these comics and thereā€™s entertainment on the inside?

Yeah, donā€™t be like that turd blossom Matt Page who was pumping Venom #19 as Dylan first using his power when he ā€œwasnā€™t using his powerā€ and that the same thing happened several issues prior to #19.

Matt Page from his turd Facebook group should read the comics he pumps and dumps before pumping and dumping themā€¦

Jus seen his postings on FB. Paying for info and his group I never seen so many sheep before. I was wondering why the name seemed familiar then It hit me I seen it here and he was mentioned. Crazy

Dead guy variant for issue 7. SanctomSantorum

And yes, he charges for the same info you find free (like on CHU and other sites)ā€¦ and now he seems to have started an online shop to point his sheep to to buy directly from him, at inflated prices. Just like the Thor #5 3rd prints, after @Anthony posted the article, about an hour later Matt Page posts the same thing on his FB group (didnā€™t even bother to change the title, same one we used at CHU, I think he even stole the image from CHU) and pointed people to his site where he was listing them for $15 each despite most still had these on pre-order for discount.

Itā€™s just all pretty sad and pathetic if you ask me.

Thank you kindly sir!

Marvel Unlimited is great and better than bending the spines of my minty fresh books (joking as I do read those as well). Obviously we have to pay for new releases but Iā€™m not doing that on MU.

As we all know, Marvel movie/TV news affects back issue books so itā€™s a valuable tool to be able to use and determine your own ideas on what may become sought after. Current stories and character hotness is all speculation for what the future MAY hold (Knull, Black Winter, Strange Academy, etc.) and I follow that extremely closely.

I knew very little about Thane and the arc of New Avengers/Infinity. Now Iā€™m going to use MU to read the whole thing and if itā€™s anything like those two issues, wow, epic! If itā€™s not, MU cost me a LOT less than buying the runs.

The big problem with all of our easy access to spec sites (which I thoroughly enjoy), is that, if you donā€™t hit the button on hot books quickly (or you donā€™t already own them) - youā€™re already behind or priced out. I looked up NA10 on eBay and there are none under $40 now. Thatā€™s not a great spec for me considering the weak appearance of Thane. Donā€™t get me wrong as, in NA10, Doctor Strange finds Thane and it does show him. But thatā€™s it. Now Infinity 4, a LOT more information about Thane is made available.

Yeah he definitely has a nice group of sheep in his flock. I was amazing they were paying for a book still available for preorder

I really wish Infinity films MCU woulda gone the lady Death route. I didnā€™t care for his motives in those films. Thanos without the obsession with Death just isnā€™t interesting to me. I get going that route is harder to pull off, but I think he woulda been a more compelling villain had hey gone that route. Dude can do whatever he wants if he is concerned about limited resources then just snap your fingers and two step a bunch of resources into existence.

They could still do Lady Death for a Deadpool 3 Thanos vs Deadpool flick :money_mouth_face:

Almost positive I own this book and got it when it first came out. Will check.

Well this means nothing. We wonā€™t know till he enters the story.

I love Marvel Unlimited. Great for the books I donā€™t buy and redeem to catch up later or read. Itā€™s totally worth the $70 or so dollars per year to have access to thousands of books, particularly all the Silver and Bronze age books they have.

I have read a lot of runs and individual spec comics so far: Champions, Ultimate Comics (Miles Morales run), the current Venom run up to issue 20, Thor: God of Thunder. Plan to read Magnificent Ms Marvel, Miles Morales: Spider-Man (Starling / Ultimatum), Spider-Men and a lot more.

I just wish there was an app on Amazon Fire TV like there was for DC. I would only watch TV for YouTube and sports.
