Watched it today. No complaints. Enjoyed it.
I watched it last night, finally. Felt it was a bit too heavy on the humor. Christian Bale was fantastic and kicks off the movie so well, but SO much felt rushed to me. I am not opposed to fun/humorous tones or cutting down crazy-long running times, but the overall tone felt just too light and breezy for me, given Gorr and Janeās stories.
When a movie tries to be a funny movie; and itās not funny - thatās 2 strikes to start.
Finally warched it last night and it was alright. My wife fell asleep 1/4 into the movie, my oldest didnt want to watch it and my little one said āThor movies are lame. They dont have good story or action.ā Lol. He was somewhat right lol
Just watched it. Loved it.
Tried to watch it. Kids kept fighting and wife yelled at me for telling them to stop. I turned it off. Will try again tomorrow.
Iām trying to watch it now but the five year old wants to show his dance movesā¦family life, eh?
Kids say the darndest thingsā¦
Soā¦.she wanted them to keep fighting?
I saw it in theaters but just watched it a 2nd time on d+ it was even better actually got all the foreshadowing this time around.
I do not know, the kids have been bickering the whole day, I just end up being wrong about correcting them.
Streamed it on my phone a month ago. Didnāt really enjoy it. I told myself it was because the screen was so small compared to a tv (couldnāt see all the details and such). Streamed it on Disney a couple days ago, and still didnāt enjoy it.
All MCU movies and shows are the same now. They use the same layout, with just a different plot. Throw in forced comedy, and everything should be ok.
Wife and I finally got to watch it last nightā¦ for us it was āmehā. We enjoy She-Hulk more.
Saw it opening weekend and did not enjoy it.Crammed too much into one movie. Jane Fosterās story line should have been a separate movie to increase overall impact of her sacrifice. Completely watered down a great sadistic villain in Gorr. The powering up of the children was one of the cheesiest and biggest eye roll moments in the MCUā¦and there have been plenty lately. Korg is too damn annoying and is venturing into JarJar Binks territory.
No matter my initial feelings after watching each MCU movie in the theatersā¦I always go back a second time at home to watch again. Sometimes I end up changing my mind for the positive. However, I made it just 15 minutes into it last night and just shut it offā¦I just canātā¦
I actually liked it. Itās what I would expect a Cliff Notes / Disney movie version of Jason Aaronās Thor run would be.
If I have problems with these adaptations, I could always go back to the books.
Yeah, I didnāt absolutely love the, āMoon Knight,ā show, but I enjoyed it and still have the comics!
As dumb and silly and cheesy as anything Iāve ever seen in any movie
I thought Gorr was fantastic. Would have been nice to see him kill some Gods. The whole Zeus storyline seemed kinda unnecessary. I wish they would have made this movie smaller and focused more on Gorr. Unlike Ragnarok, the humor here felt much more forced. I thought the last act was pretty solid, although weāre now several movies in to her run, and I just canāt feel anything for Portmanās Jane Foster. I keep waiting to like her acting because she was so damn good in The Professional 923 years ago. Was expecting far more Guardians, too.
Overall, itās probably a bottom third MCU movie for me, but I tend to enjoy them all on some level.
I agree. It was good but the humor was pushed a bit. Gorr was very good, and it would have been nice to see more of him. Not the worst Marvel film but not the best.
Yeah, humor was a little overdone, Gorr was awesome but a little underused.
