That’s Pom Klementieff. This is clearly a dream sequence.
So in Jason Aaron’s run Thor teams up with two versions of himself from the past so there could be a third Thor in this film or someone similar like Beta or Loki with a hammer. Also in this picture we have one person we can’t make out.
An old, grumpy AF, King Thor could be great as a Waititi character
I hope they doubled their money… got two of those bad boys ready to go…
Chris Pratt and Chris Hemsworth are pure freakin’ gold, Jerry. GOLD!!!
…Obviously it is the next Miles.
1st MCU appearance of Tosin! Calling it now!
It had to do with how disappointed she was with her character and the MCU. After Patty Jenkins was removed from Dark World, she decided to fulfill her contractual obligation and move on.
She seems much better with the MCU now (and I’m sure The Mouse threw a bunch of money at her).
Here’s an article from 2019 that gives some information of what was going on:
I remember her saying that this would be a one-and-done return, but I can’t find any articles on that part.
Just worried that the story of Jane-Thor is going to dilute the story of Gorr. The Gorr story is a much more brutal, dark story. The trailer does look good, but still looks like its trying to cram too many things into it. It still seems a little light-hearted. I’m still confused about if its about Jane taking on the Thor role, or about Gorr, or maybe some intro to GOTG3, or everything combined.
But the visuals in the trailer do look good …
I felt the same. Guns n Roses was the only part I really enjoyed.
It looks good, but not “I have to run out and see this day of release” good based on what’s shown.
Need more Foster and Gorr. Maybe the next trailer will have me more excited.
He’ll follow the traditional villain MCU story. I wouldn’t count on him lasting…
Don’t see how you’re confused on the movies story. It picks up after Endgame…Thor left with the guardians gang
Looks like they go back to Sakaar with the Guardians so I imagine Jeff Goldblum might make a return cameo. Could even have him killed by Gorr.
I get where it picks up. Is it focused on Jane-Thor, and how/why she gets the hammer and role? Is it focused on Gorr and his mission ? Is it a team-up with the Guardians ? Is it a storyline where Thor finds his groove ? Is it a combination - which means a diluted storyline. Thats where I’m confused.
He also interacts with Korg - Planet Sakaar as Alana points out - too many intertwined stories, not enough focus for a good story (movie plot unseen I admit !).
Probably a team to go up against a God-killer that is different from that in the comics is all.
Maybe they will make the nerd in me crazy excited and toss Angela in for good measure!
Torunn? Laussa?
Is “Sweet Child of Mine” purposeful?
Wonder if since Zeus is in it we could see Hercules too. Also possible cameos from other pantheons
Too much, too much Might help me sell my Spawn 9’s though !
Again too much ! Should be in Part 3
