Todd’s Pickups and Sales Thread

So after buying the complete Ellis Stormwatch set I wanted to re-read it and realized I sold or misplaced my tpb complete set. So I can read the individual issues as I have a few sets, but I was missing one issue which is why my most recent purchase cost $18.90 including shipping.

The Stormwatch team gets wiped out by the Xenomorphs in this issue.

Thanks! It’s mainly that Ellis wrote it!!

The issue with the Aliens gets reprinted sometimes with the pages featuring the actual Xenomorphs cut in new versions due to issues with the rights. Good to see the OG stuff.

I did find my tpb collection of Stormwatch including Final Orbit after buying the W/A issue. I could’ve never imagined it was behind my run of Spectacular Spider-Man!?

I might have one to spare and willing to let go… I’ll have to dig around next chance I get.

Including Shipping? If so consider it sold.

Weirdly, I used cash yesterday for a prescription and all four penny’s I received in change were wheat penny’s.

Same here.

I actually have kept Pennys pre 1982 due to the high copper content. I like squishing them in those souvenir machines. The later ones smear the zinc from the interior and don’t look right.

I also have steel 1943 Pennys that I use for special squishes. Like trains or ship memorials. But you need to be careful because some of the machines have a magnet in them to “catch” fake slugs….and it jams up the machine.

Found that out the hard way…

Been looking for a signed Monstress #1 myself.

I met Marjorie for my signed copies which I plan to keep. I must admit, I had a super crush on her at one time…

Paid $19.20 including shipping for the Ghost Riders

Was surprised the Monstress issues didn’t go for more in the auction. Paid $11.46 including shipping.
