My copy of Assorted Crisis Events vol1 buyer never paid. There are now a ton listed closer to cover price, so I think that ship has sailed for the time being.

It was fun while it lasted though. I couldn’t find any copies.

I’ll probably pull my listing. I don’t want to sell it for cover, as I’ll just keep it in the ol’ library.

So ones of the collected edition spec/flip plays this week was:

The Amazing Spider-Man Brand New Day Omnibus Vol 2 DM (Campbell) cover.

Released this Wednesday with a retail price of $125, could have been pre-ordered for $75-$90 from most specialized online retailers. Sold out within minutes on release. Marvel has begun printing DM variants very close to pre-order numbers so there will not be too many around and it features the iconic Campbell MJ cover. A little volatile short term but I expect this to end up in the $200-250 region for a sealed copy once the dust settles.

Releasing today on specialized online retailers

Death of Superman Absolute Edition HC Direct Market Ed

Cover price is $150. Available from between $85-$100 right now. IST (Instocktrades) currently limiting to 1 per customer and has it priced at $90. DC is doing a better job than Marvel with regards to these DM print runs but expect this to sell out pretty fast. Seeing eBay sales for $150-$175 currently with none currently listed. Volatile short term but I expect this to stay consistent in the $175-$200 range after a while.

Maybe don’t give up on Assorted Crisis Events vol 1 just yet. I think they are gone from eBay, and mine sold for $35.

Nice. I’m still waiting for my order from that InStockTrades.com which appears to just be DCBS. Anyone know how long it usually takes them to ship once ordered? Mine still says it’s “pending” but they certainly took my money…

They’re usually pretty quick. I have one that’s still outstanding as well. The last order I placed with them processed in 4 days. The one that hasn’t shipped yet, I ordered on the 6th so it’s uncharacteristically late at this point. I had one once that took a couple of weeks to go out, but I think one of the items was backordered. I’ve had them split up an order before if part of it was taking too long. If it doesn’t go out next week, I’ll probably ping them to see what’s up.

They’re backed up on their Associated Crisis Events TPbs…scratching their heads why so many people ordered at once….

Yeah, we’re going on 10 days now… .

I had ordered 5. Waited 8 days…silence. Started finding them all over the place online for msrp. Reached out to have them cancelled and they responded and canceled my order within a couple hours.

Thanks to the forum for letting me know about these - I don’t tend to give thin trade paperbacks as much attention as I probably should. Paid around $25 total for them.

Finally email them… here’s their response and then my followup responses…

Hope you all enjoy the entertaining emails…

WOW. Rogue/Gambit stuff is just so hot. I keep selling Mr. and Mrs. X stuff sporadically. But, I never see this trade. Or the individual copies of that first volume.

There’s also this one:

I think there is a female contingent that like sexy Gambit/Rogue covers.

Heads up in case you see this at your local store. Selling online in the $300-$400 region. It completely blew past me in the solicits but this is limited to 1993 copies (the year the comic came out) and it does have a signed Dan Jurgens Doomsday print along with a few other goodies. I received my $90 pre-order from IST and picked up another copy at cover price from a LCS.

I know there’s craziness elsewhere in the market with D’orc #1 last week and White Sky #1 this week but there’s been plenty of activity elsewhere.

Almost sneakily I’ve had sales of around $1k in the last week of graphic novels including these in last 24 hours. Don’t sleep on any IDW cross-IP trade paperbacks (Transformers/My Little Pony and Transformers/Back to the Future as well).
