Tuesday night spoiler request

Haven’t we already had several baby storm specs in the past?

I am in charge of writing mine. And I give myself a glowing review every time.

At my past job, we did our own reviews and yes it was ridiculous. For 6 years I’d always put in one of the comments where we review ourselves… “I’m a badass and you should be honored to have me as an employee!”

Nobody ever said or mentioned so I’m just going to assume nobody ever effing read them. It was such a joke of a system.

KCC says it is Wolverine’s baby… not sure… Could be any fanged character and she does not show off any powers besides the glowing hand.

my money was on Blade - probably something coming up in Avengers

Damned if I know what’s going on. Donald Blake turns into a lizard. Then thor blacks out…or dies. Comes back as a human? And this kid Loki…er…Lukki is there to greet him when he wakes up.

Feel free to correct my errors.

another super soldier, Blake turning into a lizard, a character named kid loki, great story telling, Stan lee rolling over in grave…

woops, one of those might be an snarky opinion. (albeit an accurate one)

Stan Lee was arguably a hack (I say that with as much love as possible) who relied on his artists to do the heavy lifting. Stan’s real skill was showmanship and appealing to the press. So, he’d probably love any trite stories if they get headlines. Kirby has probably rolled over in his grave so much he’s a spinning top, however.

So much so, he should have made his way back to the surface by now…

Yeah, I’ve heard the same as well. Once upon a time the artist was the one coming up with the plot for the story in comics while drawing and the writers just kind of filled in the dialogue when all said and done. Kirby is the real mastermind from most of Marvel’s creations, along with all the other artists they had. Stan Lee did what he did best but he gets way too much credit I think… at least on the aspect of being labeled as “creator” for a lot of these characters.

It was called the Marvel Bullpen Method. Artist led stories.

The rallying cry as of late is to put down Stan as not much more than a glorified chearleader.
Kirby did get shafted at times, but to put down Stan and consistently go with the “it was almost all Jack that did it all” - well - the truth is probably somewhere in the middle. As it usually is when the extreme opinions come in.
Jack was a pretty crummy writer. I’ve read his DC stuff from the 70s and it was not very well done.
